I had a fantastic dining experience at Ceviche Avenue. Peruvian cuisine wasn’t something I had paid much attention to before, but this restaurant changed my perspective entirely.
We visited with a group of 12, and Rosita, the gracious host and owner, accommodated us without hesitation. Her warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home.
The food was phenomenal. The chicken and Ceviche were standout dishes, full of fresh and vibrant flavors. The entire menu was a delight, and we ended up ordering more than we could eat. Everyone in my group ate until they were absolutely stuffed. I don’t overeat frequently, but I couldn’t help myself here and just had to keep going. We finished all the leftovers at home that night, and I even had to take a nap afterward!
One of the most surprising delights was the Fettuccine Lomo Saltado. Initially, I was skeptical about a pasta dish in a Peruvian restaurant, but it turned out to be one of the best pastas I’ve ever had, perfectly blending Peruvian flavors with a familiar comfort.
I never thought I would eat beef heart or be a big fan of it, but theirs is amazing. It’s a must-try for anyone looking to expand their culinary horizons.
Even the salad was impressive. It wasn’t just a bunch of romaine and iceberg lettuce; it was a high-quality spring mix with a delightful dressing that tied all the flavors together beautifully.
The quality of the food, the exceptional service, and the welcoming atmosphere make Ceviche Avenue a must-visit. There are many places to eat in the area, but this gem should be at the top of your list. Thank you, Rosita, for an...
Read moreAll I ordered was a ceviche. I was a bit disappointed: the portion and flavor was comparable to any other Peruvian restaurant. My disappointment came when i was only served a 1cm x 1 cm piece of sweet potato and, literally, 4 seeds of corn. in addition, I ordered the ceviche with the hot chile on the side. it was not. the chilly was allover. Further more, on my first bite, I felt like I chewed on something I shouldn't have. I felt like a piece of pepper got stuck on my throat. From that point forward, my meal was ruined. So i quickly ate and left. Minutes later, my body kept telling me there's something wrong. I developed some kind of allergy!!! I'm not sure if they put MSG in the ceviche or it was the funny smell of butter I felt as I was coming and leaving through the back door (closest to the parking). I may have been the one in a million that had bad experience there, but I am certainly...
Read moreWhat a horrible experience. I went to this place by myself feb 28 sunday night, there was nobody by the door to seat me so I decided to approach the counter as I saw this man around the counter. I greeted him and asked him if he could help me (I just needed a table), he did't even say hello and made a sign with his hand like telling me "wait" he proceeded to fix a table, came back, ignored me, and went to take an order to one of the tables. What a rude, uneducated behavior. Clearly he has no manners. There was a female server also who was not rude but totally busy to help me out. My total waiting time of nearly 15 minutes like a stupid at a 8 table restaurant. I'm never going back there and I'd be really ashamed to take someone to try out food of my country at this place. You guys need serious...
