We loved going here for lunch. We called in our orders. However we called ahead and asked for extra tartar sauce with our seafood plater . I asked when I got to window and paid and didn’t have extra tartar sauce so the 2 girls at the window politely gave me 2 extra 1 for each dinner. I was driving home and I had about 6 calls from the Kountry Bakery. I finally pulled over and called back. A person named Eric yelled and was very rude told me he charged me extra for the 2 extra tarter sauces and it was up to someone else to make sure I got them I politely told him thank you. Now we don’t want to go back! I hate it because we went there several times a week. But that is very rude and we will not deal with poor customer service as he gave. The chicken was rubbery and by the end I just took the chicken breast out at ate the bread. I don't really do sweets at all and maybe once every few years for breakfast soooo my options were limited. I am giving a higher rating than my experience mentioned above might suggest it should. This is based on the face that I went with a few other people and they seemed to really enjoy their food. I think one of them had a jalapeno sausage kolache which they said was really...

But let me tell you about lunch. I got the grilled chicken sandwich—fully loaded with lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, onions, pickles, and cheese. Normally I’d say “hold this, skip that,” but this time I went all in. And oh my gosh… perfection.
My friend had the chicken noodle soup, and instead of a bowl of broth with a few bits floating in it, this one was stuffed with meat and veggies. Bonus points for the sweet cornbread on the side.
Traveling through? This place is a definite YES. Bakery, lunch, and small-town charm all...
