Today was my 2nd time visiting this establishment. I came back after telling my husband about how delicious the New York style pizza was. We came in with our 3 year old twins. We were respectfully greeted by a gentleman in a white shirt (i believe he may the owner) when we walked in and the staff behind the counter were friendly, very accommodating, and respectful. The gentleman who took our order even went as far as making sure that my sons' pizza slices were not too hot and cutting the pizza slices in small squares that they could easily eat. As many know, toddlers can be a bit rambunctious, and as my sons sat on a booth eating their pizza, they began to tap their feet against the booth. There was a woman there sitting at a table with some of the staff of the restaurant who i overheard say was, conducting a "business meeting," who turned around and very loudly yelled at my sons: " Hey, hey, hey guys! Stop kicking!" My sons, as well as my husband and myself were very taken back by this. My one son, who has a speech delay may I add, and has a difficult time expressing himself, immediately began to cry and stopped eating his food. We immediately began to pack our things and headed for the door. My husband walked up to this "business woman" and told her she was completely out of line and told her to not address our kids again. She turned beet-red and said nothing. This woman may be an owner or a manager, im not sure, but to say the least, we will not be returning here, as we will not put our children in situations where complete strangers think they are entitled to yell at them and make them uncomfortable. We, as their parents were already handling the foot tapping on the booth, and and this "business woman" started hollering at them. At the very least she could have walked up to my husband and myself to ask the boys to stop tapping their feet. We will be taking taking our...
Read moreAfter several suggestions, I decided to finally go in and see what the hype was about and I'm very confused. I've never been so disappointed about eating pizza as I was a few nights ago (not to mention I had a friend drive up 2 hours to eat this below average pizza if that's what we want to call it). To start, the sauce which one would think is the most important ingredient was watered down and bland. The Buffalo chicken pizza was the worst I've had in my life. Generally, there would be chunks of chicken not shredded meat with a drizzle of blue cheese or ranch not tomatoes. After a bite I threw away an entire pie. I decided to get a slice of scicillion a try while I waited and again it was cold and tasteless. NOT TO MENTION MY PIE WAS DONE IN LESS THAN 6 MINUTES. I ordered 6 garlic knots which the hostess conveniently forget about until I got up and reminded her. General rule of thumb, when taking an order don't just charge the customer for the largest size. There's clearly 3 sizes listed on your menu, so your hostess should have enough common sense to ask what size not upmark and put down for a large thinking people wouldn't notice. Again, something I had to remind her of. Not sure if the other "great" reviews are from family members or friends of the owners, but this has to be by far the worst pizza place in this area. Vitos Pizza which used to be next to AC Moore was 10x superior to this place. Additionally, it was fun counting the amount of fruit flies stuck to the wall. You'd think the owners would take better care of a new business which frankly is misleading because this is definitely not Brooklyn style or remotely close. If you want to waste your money and go home hungry then this is definitely your place to go. Otherwise, this has no competition against Ninos, Delorenzo's or...
Read moreI went to try this place because we are new to the area and looking for a good pizza spot. I ordered online and first it was saying the order would not arrive until hours later. I did not choose a time on my order except for asap. I called to find out why it said that I would get it so late the manager says oh I'm sorry it will be there less than that in about 30 minutes. The pizza arrived 45 minutes later and when we opened it to eat it... it was not what we ordered. I ordered pepperoni and it was just cheese. I called the place back and the manager says oh I'm sorry it was because I was rushing him and that he would give me 8.00 off next order. Why would you not offer to remake the pizza? I spent 33.00 on that pizza order would have taken that over 8 dollars off next order and on top of that the pizza was very crispy burnt and salty. My husband and I hated it. I don't plan to return. We found a better...
