A: We started with the chips and salsa, and right away the orange salsa caught my attention. I still don’t know exactly what it is, but it’s a delicious twist compared to the usual red salsa most places have. Solid 8/10. I ordered the Quesabirria, and the portion size did not disappoint. The broth was flavorful, and the birria itself was great. My only complaint was the cheese — one taco had a ton, and the other barely had any, so it felt a little inconsistent. Still, flavor-wise? 8/10.

R: I went a bit off the usual path and ordered the seafood pasta — and honestly, this dish is a hidden gem. The seafood flavor is strong (in a good way), the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the mix of crab, shrimp, and clams was generous. If you pace yourself right, you’ll get shrimp in every bite. The portion could easily feed two people, and the side of bread was surprisingly delicious. I just wish the sauce was a bit creamier, and a sprinkle of Parmesan on top would’ve taken it from great to perfect. 8.5/10.

P.S. The drinks? Let’s just say they’re made with extra love. You’ll feel it.

I love the new (early 2023) location with entrance from inside the grocery store. The food is still great, and the staff is wonderful.

You can't go wrong here, guacamole, tostada, torta, chili relleno, huevos rancho are all just perfect.

I was just checking my spelling against their menu and will have to try their Quesabirria GDL Taco. Crispy shell sounds great. [Update 2025: I've had the birria tacos several times, very good]

For drinks we always get the hibiscus agua fresca (red cool aid like drink) and horchata (tases like cinnamon nutmeg milkshake, but I think is dairy free).

Sometimes we stop by just for desert. Sit in the restaurant and order a Banana Chimi for a real treat. Then there is an ice cream shop by the exit.
