It continues to puzzle me why this area is so lacking good Chinese food. I mean can we have 10% of what we get in Edison NJ or 1% from Chinatown? By and large, we get only Americanized Chinese food here. When I saw "Taipei" in this name, I was so excited because I normally associate "Taipei" with Taiwanese cuisine, nothing to do with Americanized Chinese food. Then I saw it's within the Giant Supermarket so my hope dropped. I read the online menu. Yep, all Americanized dishes. Nevertheless, I made an order anyway because my son was really fussing for fried rice and lo mein.

The food was on par with what I expected for American Chinese dishes, but the serving size was rather generous. For that (the value), the friendliness of its staff, the convenience of its location, and last but not least -- the free donuts, I added one star to my rating. I did grab a copy of their menu and spotted 2 less typical dishes (potentially more authentic kind) that I might want to give a try. So there will be...

Please make them aware of how important customer service is. Not a good...
