Excited Goat Coffee Company — Restaurant in Hampton Township

I’m all for supporting small, local business but this coffee shop really isn’t worth the price. We’ve been customers since they opened and the quality seems to have gone downhill. The cinnamon rolls used to be so good but the business they get them from changed the recipe and upped the price. Items are expensive, especially the seasonal menu items and they don’t taste THAT great. My toddler and I were also disappointed that they don’t offer many non-caffeinated items, aside from expensive smoothies. Even an overpriced juice box would be better than a sad toddler who didn’t get a drink like the rest of us. The barista also wasn’t very friendly and didn’t offer any other suggestions to us as far as non-caffeinated drinks. Had she offered us chocolate milk, we would have gone that route but didn’t know it...

Finally, a real coffee place has come to Essexville-Hampton! Great espresso and wonderful staff. Their menu is really good. I typically get just an unflavored iced latte with oat milk but decided to try one of their menu items. They made it half as sweet for me since I am used to non-flavored coffee drinks. It’s really bizarre that someone commented on here reviewing their hours but not the product and service. EGCC is open during their clearly advertised hours of operation.
