Stars Chinese Gourmet Restaurant — Restaurant in Hampton Township

Typically I love this restaurant, however today I was waiting in the drive through for about 5 minutes with out anyone saying anything over the speaker. Not big deal, it happens but at this point I had about 2 cars behind me, so I called the restaurant to ask if they were serving drive through, and I explained that I had been waiting for a while longer than I typically do to place and order so I just wanted to make sure. I was told "stop calling because I am busy" and I was then hung up on. By the time time I was able to place my order there were about 4 cars lined up behind mine. I don't mind the wait, but I certainly do not appreciate the way I was spoken to. Had I been told that it would only be a moment as they were extremely busy I wouldn't be writing this review. If it weren't for the toddler in my back seat screaming about how hungry she was I would have left with out placing an order. Customer service has never been their strong suit. Not the best, that's for sure. The crab cheese (ragoon) tasted like it was fried in old oil. The fried rice left a lot to be desired, especially considering it doesn't even come with the dinner combo, and you have to pay for it on the side. The sesame chicken was just okay too, as that had a taste of being fried in old oil as well, except the sauce helped cover the taste of the old oil and it doesn't even come with broccoli like when you order sesame chicken at any other Chinese restaurant. Very disappointed with my order, very small portions compared to other Chinese take out. I ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce and it only had about 3 pieces of what looked like shrimp (didn’t taste like shrimp either) in it and had a dark brown sauce that was very salty. The fried rice was over cooked and dry. I ordered egg drop soup and wanton soup, very small portions and didn’t even get the chips for the egg drop soup that are usually complimentary at any other place you order from. Overall they are very highly overpriced for what you get and I will not be back to this establishment. Very...
