This store is the worst KFC in the area of Hampton. I have been here 3 times and each time I have come they have been out of chicken. Either they are out of crispy or out of original, they are out of white meat constantly, they were even out of chicken on Superbowl Sunday when they had no more chicken left and this was before halftime. I have to go here often because I work for a local delivery company and it is extremely frustrating to deal with this KFC. I absolutely will not fill any of my orders at this KFC anymore....I will drive twice the distance either to the corner s of Pembroke and Queen Street, or to Jefferson and Mercury ; before I will stop at this KFC and waste my time again. Whomever is the owner of this KFC needs to do an audit at various times of day to check on the staff and how much of their business is going out the window because of inefficient management. I understand they have to be careful of loss however I was told by the female manager on duty tonight 2/23/2019 that after the cook leaves they do not cook anymore chicken. The girl who package my order at the window said they're fryers go down at 9 p.m. I arrived at 9:30 and was told they were not cooking anymore chicken and they were out of white meat. Mind you this is on a Saturday when their hours on their window say they are open until 10:30 though woman at the drive-thru told me that they were only open until 10. This is a humongous inconvenience and look at all the others on the review saying the same thing .When contractin for a delivery company and you have to contact the company AND the customer to notify them yet again that this KFC is out of chicken. Though the manager was very nice and came to the window to take the time to explain it to me.... explaining it didn't excuse away the inefficiency. I was told by the female mgr. That they try to have all the chicken cooked by 7:30 and estimate enough chicken to last through until closing.... Yuck!! That means that they're cooked chicken and it is sitting for 3 hours unrefreshed. In addition to this I was told that had I had a very large order the manager would have taken it upon herself to cook it for me.. and they drop small items like potato wedges..sooooo because most mine was not a large order and I only wanted three pieces of white meat at 9:30 that was not a good enough reason. I implore the owners of the store to audit their store to see exactly how much money they are losing by turning...
Read moreThe worst KFC I've ever been to. When I initially pulled up to the drive thru with my daughter the first thing My daughter and I noticed was a lot of popping sounds in the surrounding area. I was a little on alert because you just never know...so I decide to order a 12 piece family bucket and right off the bat the woman taking my order is screwing up thinking I want a number 12combo. I correct her and we continue. I then ask her if I may have the chicken grilled, she tells me all they had was a breast and a couple drumsticks and that it was an 18 minute wait on fresh grilled. For the life of me I don't understand why they wait until they are almost out or out of chicken before they start cooking more. Anyway so I tell her I'll just buy the 3 and get the rest in original. I go up to pay then the woman tells me. We don't have any biscuits... I said that's fine. In the back of my mind I'm thinking damn it I love them biscuits but whatever it's 8:20...I needed to get home. After I pay she tells me that if I could pull up because they needed to prepare my bucket, I said fine. This whole time I tried to show patience. That was until a whole 13 minutes later and my food still wasn't given to me, and "5 other cars" left with their food. I then decided to go inside to complain and noticed that all doors were locked. All doors locked at 8:30...hmm...anyway so I go to the drive thru again and tell the lady that I already paid and had been waiting for 15 minutes. Instead of apologizing she tells me "it hasn't been 15 minutes sir". I at that point was fuming. She then proceeds to tell me the guy was outside looking for me. His tone and suggestion, I was happy and couldn't wait to sit for my meal. He suggested crispy which I didn't know KFC still offered and I wanted and asked for crispy. I also asked for a tea with lemon/lemonade. The drive through was lengthy so I sat by the intercom a few more minutes waiting my turn. With my window rolled up I hear music. I was close but ultimately I figured it to be coming fron the car in front or behind me. I rolled down my window and realized it was coming from the intercom REALLY!! I won't repeat any of the words, smh, but I thought this was a business. So when I finally get to the window and when my drink is handed to me I ask again does my tea have lemon.
