Dukes Pizza Plus — Restaurant in Handy Township

Update...It took a while, but I did get my funds back and they were very willing to work with me once we touched base. They even put in a little extra for my troubles. The pizza was good, one was slightly burnt on bottom, but I will chalk that up to multiple new employees that night. I didn't complain. The cheese bread was very good, had nice seasoning. And maybe I was just really hungry, but the salad was one of the best I have had in a while. It was gone in minutes, because it was so good. Someday if we are in the area we will try the ribs, which was our original intent.

Previous...I would give lower if I could. We were in the area for my son's wrestling meet. We noticed a sign that mentioned ribs, so we stopped, my sugar was low. We came in and saw no menus or posted prices, so we asked for a menu. The girl went and got us one, we asked questions, each time she had to go ask someone. We gave our order per the menu. She took my card and when I saw the total, I told her that it was about $20 higher than expected, she went and talked to someone and came back and said the menu prices were not updated. So I asked for our money back and we'd order something different, because we based our purchase on the menu. She had to get someone and that girl took my card and said she returned my funds. The funds never came, I have called this establishment three times and left a message and all my info each time and have never heard back. They owe me almost $70! My husband paid for the other meal, so we paid over $100 for a couple pizzas, basically! I would not trust...

Terrible service. I ordered carry out and was told it would be 20 minutes. I arrived about 25 minutes after I placed the order and it wasn't ready. The gentlemen behind the counter said it would be out in a few, ok no problem. Then, all the workers disappear to the back and no one comes back out for another 20 minutes. I had to open and close the door so the bell would ding and someone would come out. I paid online, and at this point I had waited there for 40 min and placed my order 1 hr prior, so I asked for a refund. The woman who came out to help voided the charge and offered a mediocre "sorry". So unprofessional, terrible customer service, and just all around disorganized. It's like they are barely hanging on by a thread. Biggest waste of my time and my night. This same thing happened last time I ordered, but I thought I would give them a second chance- never again. I'm not much of a reviewer, but I was so incredibly disappointed by the ribs I had last night that I felt the need to write this. It cost $29 for a half slab of ribs and a side salad. The side salad was fine even though it had the peppers I requested to be left off - I had no problem just picking them off. But the ribs... The claimed "Best in the county" ribs... By far the worst ribs I have ever had. Firstly they are way overpriced. Being charged $29 for what I got was ridiculous. The worst part was how tough the ribs were. It was like eating a very well done steak. And there was a pretty gross thick layer of fat that doubled the thickness of the ribs. Seemed like a super low quality piece of meat that was terribly prepared. If you're going to charge a premium price, I expect a premium product. Had these been amazing I would not have minded paying what I did. Had I known this ahead of time, I would have just gone to Outback and had a fantastic meal for...
