McDonald's — Restaurant in Hanford

If I could put zero stars I would, but to leave a review I am required to leave 1 star.

I went in early this morning at midnight to order 5 Double Cheeseburgers, 3 McChickens, 1 Bacon egg and cheese McGriddle, 40 nuggets and 2 large fries. I told them I had a coupon from the app that was for 40 nuggets and 2 large fries for $13. They told me they were out of large fry boxes so they said I could not order large fries. I then asked if they could just put the fries in a medium fry box instead, AGAIN they said I could not do that as the medium boxes wouldnt fit a large amount of fries AND that the coupon wouldnt work because it only works for large fries and I couldn't order it. I then asked the employee why they couldn't just give me 1 medium and 1 small fry to equal a large fry as I am a former McDonald's employee and worked there for a few years and mentioned that we used to be able to give the equivalent amount of fries in the different size containers (1 medium + 1 small fry = 1 large fry) and another person - who I am assuming is the manager - came onto the intercom and stated to me that they could not do that as well because it is McDonald's 'new policy' and 'standards' that they count each fry box and so they cannot do anything about it and simply cannot give me a large fry and honor my coupon.

I have never been to a corporate company as big as McDonald's who has not made accommodations for a customer that is SO small, but turned it into this big hassle and inconvenience. What could have been a sale for around 40 bucks turned to $0 in a matter of 5 minutes and now I have happily spent it elsewhere. This is the last time I will come to this Hanford location and I now question McDonalds 'new policies and procedures'.

This specific location has very rude staff. I’m a doordash delivery driver and I believe they banned me from the store. I went to pickup an order there so I sat down and waited patiently for the order. I look over to the counter 15 minutes later. There’s an order sitting on the counter, the order I’ve been waiting patiently on. Why didn’t they call out the order they know who I am. I preceded to ask if the order was ready once I realized that one was sitting on the counter. The manager asks the same question to the same person who never calls out the orders no matter how many times I asked her to do so as it is there job. The manager points her finger at me and rudely says I’m talking here. So everything is there after all that commotion I say to both of them. Horrible 3 times and walk out. There is no reason to be rude to me as I am merely trying to do my job. How hard is it to call out a order ready for pickup ? I feel I was banned wrongfully as I’m an amazing dasher who uses hot bags catering bags etc. this is a business to me and I treat it as such and would like to get unbanned if...

I gave 3 stars for the morning employees at the 2nd window. The employee that took my order speaks clearly, my order is always correct on the screen.Yet she just nods and I always feel like she doesn't really want to be there. Now let me tell you about the breakfast I ordered. 7:42 am and the sausage was burnt, the slice of cheese cold and the muffin was so crunchy yet seemed like it was stale, coffee lukewarm. They will be getting $20 an hour in April and if the attitudes don't change and the breakfast sandwiches continue to be served cold and burnt I will find another place for my 88 year old Mom's breakfast. I don't use their app and purchase her breakfast at McDonald's 7 days a week. She has Alzheimers and insists on breakfast and lunch from McDonald's it is something she is familiar with and remembers.
