Royal Garden Buffet — Restaurant in Hannibal

I just love their crab Rangoon and their fried rice and their egg rolls and their sweet and sour sauce and their garlic chicken and sesame chicken and jalapeno chicken and their noodles that they have on the buffet that looks kinda like spagetti ( I can't think of its name sorry!) And their chicken teryki on a stick. They are very good. The staff is very polite and the manager is very welcoming and polite. Their American food such as the fried chicken and pizza isn't very good but if you come for a good Chinese meal this is a great place to go. It is a great value also. I wish the garlic chicken was offered with a little spiciness added. It is very good with lots of chicken and broccoli and carrots. There is soo much to try there. They even offer crab legs but I can't eat them because I am allergic to them. They offer take out by the ppund but don't deliver. It is a great place for a family. Honestly, I grew up coming here as a kid. This place has had its ups and downs after COVID, and there was a fear in our community that we were going to lose this business. Now, it seems to be going strong. I now come here with my fiancé on a somewhat regular; this place has brought back so much nostalgia and yet, still finds room to make new memories for my partner and I. I honestly highly recommend this place, the people and service are kind and welcoming; and will always be there to lend a hand if you need anything. The food comes out damn beautiful, you can tell that the kitchen staff honestly do care about their food. I honestly hope to just see this place continue to go up from here. As AUCE buffets go, Royal Garden is one of the best in the area. There is a large selection of food, both asian-american and just American. Over the past 20 years of eating at this establishment, none of the food had been over or under spiced.

The service is about what you can expect from any buffet. You won't get a personal maid, but you also won't be ignored. Drinks are refilled on a timely manner, your existence in the establishment is appreciated, and 9 times out of 10 the waitress staff are happy. The off chance they aren't is because they are human too.

The atmosphere is cozy, a small slice of what I hope an Asian restaurant would have on their contenant. Soft, slow Asian music playing, simple yet elegant decor. The booths are dated but still comfortable.
