To the people who are saying "Service is great, this is great, EVERYTHING IS GREAT.", I just want to say this. Its like they didn't even TRY to be unique in their chicken sandwich. And their chicken sandwich tastes so bland (even with the spicy version) Their supplier is (Likely) Tyson. Since the chicken sandwich tastes like a Tyson patty, and the market is too ferocious, they have to be unique, in which they fail at. I'm no Gordon Ramsay but i know the taste of a good chicken sandwich when i have one. I've had better, and worse. But this is one to avoid unless you're a adavid KFC fan. However, when it comes to customer service, that, i cannot reply on due to them being closed for only indoor because of low staffing. Their locations are bland, inside and out. There's no flair to what i consider an aesthetic. Go to popeyes, Burger King, Mcdonalds, anywhere but KFC. I only had it twice, but i've noticed that they use minimal ingredients. Minimal ingredients = no flavor = unhappy consumer = bad review. It's simple, and it seems like they legitimately don't care.
So you want to know? Okay. A: Chicken is greasy, too greasy that you'll have to get FDA/CDC permission to have it. B: Chicken sandwich have no flavor. C: Most locations are filthy (But not terribly so). Basic things like, mats being dirty, stained with grease, crums in most places, gum under some tables. D: All locations sell bad food, (its based off of where you're at. I live in P.A, so, your locations might have better food from off their fryers, might be better... or worse.) E: People are too lenient when it comes to "Fast Food" location chains like these. F: There's better chicken sandwiches out there. Go and try different...
Read moreLet me start by saying this, my wife and I used to dine at the KFC in Kingston. Not that they were horrible but there's no vibe there.
Therefore, we started patronizing the KFC on Oxford in Wilkes Barre. As soon as we walked in the Manager Justin greeted us with huge smile and "Good Afternoon" we knew this was our new spot. He and his staff are always accommodating, not just to us but everyone who walked through the doors. This is after multiple visits and each experience was met with greater customer service expertise.
One day unbeknownst to Justin, my wife and I sat and listened while he interviewed a young man looking for his first job. It was refreshing to hear a manager of a fast food establishment treat this young man as if he was interviewing for a CEO position on Wall Street.
I know fast food restaurants often get a bad reputation, but trust me Justin and his entire team practices KFC's core values. Give them a try, they...
Read moreBad reviews are a rare occurrence for me because I believe if a merchant is really trying their best with what they have to work with they should not be trashed. However, with this company, KFC I am consistently disappointed and shocked at how far their quality and service has declined from the great recipe they had when I was a teenager. I actually worked at a KFC for one day in high school and quit because the work was so demeaning. Now I see not only that attitude has gotten worse with seemingly demoralized associates who don't care what impression they make but food that tastes like it was discarded in a cooler and reheated a week later. The chicken seems okay but the way it's prepared and what ends up on your plate is soggy, rubbery and cold. Stick a fork in it I think KFC is DONE! (The...
