My husband and I are new to PA, I started looking for places near by to eat and came across this place, seeing the amount of good reviews it has we decided to try it out. Waitress was nice (even though we were talking to her in spanish and she was responding in english, doesn’t matter we both are bilingual, personally a little rude, but she was nice), she brought out chips and salsa, salsa had no flavor and no touch of hotness at all. My husband ordered an “agua fresca de horchata” which was horrible, no flavor, no sugar, it faintly had the touch of what it was meant to be. For appetizer we ordered nachos they are served tex-mex style but a poor version of it, lack of flavor and taste as well, yes a big portion of chips topped with beans, lettuce, mayo and cheese everything unevenly distributed. My husband ordered a “molcajete” which to the eye looked appetizing (even though we were regretting going there after the salsa, agua fresca and nachos), I ordered a steak quesadilla which was alright in flavor, better than what we got served before. I was done eating and my husband was starting to make his third taco when he noticed a cockroach on the wall !!! I tried to kill it but it made a drop from the table to the floor, we got disgusted after seeing that, I wanted to puke immediately. I let our server know of that incident, she gave us her apologies, we asked for the bill and she charged ALL OF THE FOOD & DRINKS !! Now, I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for 14 yrs and if a customer ever told us about a bug incident we would give a discount on their bill. Molcajete was $25.00 which we felt bad in throwing it away so we asked for it to go and put it down for our cat. Personally we didn’t liked this place nor the food, not going back at all. We tried Cactus which is two blocks down or so across the street, food is tastier and agua de horchata as it has to be ! Oh and no roaches around 🙌🏼

P.S MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN STOMACH SICK SINCE WE GOT HOME LAST NIGHT, IT’S 7AM AND...

I came to this restaurant yesterday night at approximately 10:13p to pick up an Uber Eats order. Upon my arrival into the restaurant the female behind the counter looked at me I said hello she said nothing then immediately turned around with her back facing me. Once I reached the counter , I AGAIN said hello she said nothing and kept her back towards me. There was a male in the kitchen he looked at me through the window then look at her "as I called out to her again". He said ASHLEY loud and clear about 2 times then pointed at me like there's someone behind you. She then turned around threw the bag on the counter then pushed it forward to me. I said to her have a great night. SHE AGAIN SAID NOTHING!!!!. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE. As I stated I was there to pick up someone else's order because if it were mine I would have definitely canceled the entire order. Love...

The first time my family and I ate there I would have to give them 5* but then I’ve order for delivery and they started going down hill first they would tell me (no delivery today) when in the menu or app it has indicated that they do delivery. Then I would speak to them in Spanish they will answer English I would speak to them in English they will answer Spanish, they need to improve their customer service. I look at the menu physically to place a phone order, just to find out that they don’t have everything in the menu when I’m physically looking at the menu and expecting it to be there. If they don’t certain food or delivery they should indicate that to avoid confusion with customers. The girls that take order are not even polite, come at you rudely and with an attitude. Hope they get better with their customer service and update their menu/services on the days that...

I'm visiting family from NYC and I stopped in after wanting some "real" food that's not fast chain food restaurant.. Well.. Stopped in and was absolutely blown away of how delicious and authentic the food is! I ordered the quesadilla, guacamole and tried the tostada... Packed with flavor, really great portions, good price but above all DELICIOUS authentic Mexican food. Says a lot since I've tried MANY many Mexican restaurants in nyc and this one is top 3 imo. Wish it were closer back to home but will definitely visit when I come back. I suggest to the owner to extend open times to later on weekends like Friday Saturday.. Not sure if I'm spoiled cuz of nyc but that would be nice. Also alcoholic drinks would be a bonus

Great atmosphere and most importanly, delicious food!! I got the vegetarian tacos, squash and mushroom. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, not soggy. And I love that they give you whole onions (picture was after I already ate one plus a taco 😬😋) it's so authentic. The mild green salsa had a great flavor (not super spicy, I don't like spicy spicy) and it's not watery like the tomatillo salsas sometimes are.. also got a jamaica agua fresca and it was the best hibiscus iced tea I've had from a restaurant, sweet enough and refreshing (I chugged it before I could get a picture)

The food used to be absolutely amazing. I used to order from here at least once a week. Lately I haven’t been ordering out as much as my schedule hasn’t been so busy, but I got a craving for their tacos. I ordered four and unfortunately they aren’t made the way they used to be. They hardly put any cilantro or onion which was my favorite part (the onion) The flavor of the meat is still good but definitely missing the extra flavor it used to have all the time :(((
