Had an order to go tonight of the teriyaki chicken bowl and rainbow roll. The sushi was placed in the same bag on top of the teriyaki bowl. Please start doing a tied bag that separates the cold sushi from the warm food. The sushi was decent, first rainbow roll that didn’t have tuna and had eel on instead. The teriyaki bowl while an abundance of chicken unfortunately was a fail. It states it’s a rice bowl with chicken and carrots. There were 3 carrot sticks with were semi-raw in which my fork couldn’t pierce. They added 2 broccoli florets that were the same and inedible. There were 4 onion slices that helped a rather bland bowl. The chicken was kissed with teriyaki and only the flavor of oil and a char from the cast iron were prevalent. There also seemed to be a subtle breading of maybe flour to the outside of the chicken. The chicken wasnt cut down from the fat or tendons of the chicken breast. Rice was rice. Wouldn’t recommend this food for anyone and left most untouched and uneaten. The inside decor is so-so but couldn’t imagine paying hibachi prices when you can go get tepanyaki down the street for the same price and a show.

In an out of the way location that hasn't done so well over the years for past hopeful restauranteers, lies a hidden gem. Hata is hopeful and my hopes lie with them. More curious than expectant, I found a new favorite. Every ingredient seemed just right, every texture thought out. The takoyaki, an afterthought appetizer, was an artistic introduction of the flavors to come. I would not feel inaccurate in believing, were it not for the flavor and freshness of the following foods, that the takoyaki was their signature dish. It was such a treat that I ordered it as a dessert as well. It is a delightful balance of so many flavors and textures. The sashimi held it's texture while the decoratively styled garnishes were crisp and fresh. Overall, a fulfilling and delightful meal.

Best Japanese restaurant and best Japanese food I ever tried. The food is so fresh and the presentation is amazing. The customer service is great and warm. I highly recommend it. It’s my second time going and already become my favorite restaurant! Well deserve 5 stars, the picture I added is the dinner bento box, I didn’t take a picture of the soup because it was so good that I finished in few minutes.

Eating here was like a trip to Japan. The cozy seating and warmth while cars and residents pass by is like a visual palate cleanser for the most delicious rice. The hibachi rice melts in your mouth and has just the right chew factor texture. The flavors of Japan light up inside your mouth like a kindling of life until you are satiated. Each bite into a fresh piece of seafood or other meats leaves you begging for more. If you want a delicious meal come here! The setting is peaceful and the hours of operation allow weary workers to come in a dine with their loved ones after a long shift on the job. We got one Hanover ! Lets all support this yummy business and keep them with us forever! Tell Lee...
