After watching a video about this place...and then reading good reviews...we were dying to try it. The journey starts with a completely disjointed website that is impossible to follow. I honestly ...after an entire hour..wasn't sure if it was open on Saturday..or how to order food. These companies think they have struck gold when they think that the internet is their salvawasn't. Without a great website its useless. A telehone number would have been fantastic so customers wouldnt give up in frustration. I honestly would have given up trying if I wasn't persistent due to luckily coming across a complimentary video. After spending WAAAY too much time trying to scour their website...I decided to take my chances and just show up. If it didn't work I could go to Spencer's. Now...isn't that the very LAST way you want to try and get new customers? Upon arriving I was told "you can just grab and checkout." That information is absolutely impossible to find in the mess of a website. Turns out...doesnt reallymatter for us . I wanted to try the highly acclaimed meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy. It looked good. It wasn't. The meat was mushy with almost no hamburger flavor. On top of it...it was SWEET??? Who makes sweet mushy meatloaf? I hate to say but I thought it was terrible. We didn't even finish it..and threw it away. The gravy wasn't much better. The mashed potatoes...if they weren't sitting in the meatloaf and gravy would be good...not great. I was SO MUCH wanting to love all of this and it was a disaster from start to finish for all the reasons mentioned. If the people weren't so nice I would have given it one star...and I hate down grading businesses. There isn't a single thing about the experience that I would include in a successful business model. I honestly wish it was different...but wasnt. We may be unusual that we didn't like the food...maybe. We actually order meatloaf a lot. This is the worst we have had. There isn't a single thing about the meatloaf that I look for. Not even close....
Read moreThe food was excellent! They came to an outdoor gospel concert we had. I absolutely love food trucks. The young lady was so nice and sweet. The food was made to order of course. A little in the expensive side but well worth it. I got the apple wood smoked bacon grilled cheese and a raspberry Lemonade. OMG it was delicious. The bread was toasted to perfection and nice and buttery. I heard alot of people talking about the love the tater tots but the sauce that came with it was a little on the spicy side. Unfortunately I only got a chance to try one tot. That's only because I stole one off my daughter's trey 😆. The one I tried was good though. They were closings by the time I was hungry again and wanted to try something else. All in...
Read moreI just wanted to drop a note and say how thankful I am for Mom On The Go. They were so helpful and the owner (I believe it was the owner) is really a great person. I was totally overwhelmed getting ready for my son's birthday and mistake I wrote the correct date but the wrong day of the week on my order. She noticed, remembered our phone conversation and made sure the order was ready for my son's birthday. I showed up frantic, thinking I would have no food for all my guests and she greated me with open arms, literally. She saw I was upset, reassured me everything was all all set and gave me a big hug!! Her kindness will not be forgotten and the giant grilled cheese was delicious. More than enough to feed the whole party....
