D’Ann’s Sports & Entertainment Restaurant — Restaurant in Abington

In response to the review below Rick Johnson… I have been a regular customer at D’Ann’s for over 15 years.. 15 years!! I have to say my wife and I order the chicken supreme AT LEAST once a week. One of the best dishes they have to offer. After reading the review I asked the managers how many of this are sold weekly and was told over 100! I guess everyone else likes the “microwaved chicken patties with jarred gravy” huh Rick? One other important fact that I asked about; the restaurant doesn’t even carry a microwave in their kitchen they do not have one in the cooking area, tough to microwave a dish without a microwave isn’t it?? The chicken I know for a fact isn’t microwaved and they make their own gravy lol. Honestly I read some of these ridiculous reviews and wonder if people like Rick know what they are talking about. Did they even talk to a manager because managers are seen EVERYWHERE IN THE BUILDING! This guy claims to be Julia Child or just negative. Don’t let his “facts “ get in the way of a good restaurant and better story. Sorry I just can’t left another ridiculous person make up facts not surprised though. Keep doing a great job D’ANN’S the majority of us appreciate your attention to detail and enjoy our experience...

This is the quality you get when buying a $14 sandwich. Manager gets a nasty attitude when you complain and you end up looking like the bad person. Waitress was very friendly and agreed with the bad quality of the meal. Manager spoke to waitress like it was her fault. Waitress stated she did not want to talk with manager again about the meal because she was afraid of getting into trouble. Managers excuse as to why the meal looked as it did, is because the menu had changed. That was not the problem. Meat looks gross, maybe one slice of shredded meat per half with burnt American cheese (was supposed to be Swiss) Food arrived to table cold. The manager approached the table immediately with an attitude and while leaving the restaurant as looked like it was done on purpose, the manager walked past me fast eyeing me and as we were shoulder to shoulder in a rude deep tone said, ah have a good night!! Was super shocked at her lack of professionalism. Pizza is good from here but will no longer be ordering...

Update 2/13/2022: I went back to give them another chance and boy have things gone back to normal for them. I just ordered the Asian chili wing dings and they were the sweetest, tangy light fire wings I have ever had. Each bite was a crispy, spicy moist explosion into my mouth. Every wing was covered in sauce and they were the bomb !

My review below was when covid19 was full blown so I will attribute the bad food below to that because they probably had staffing issues like all restaurants did at that time

This is from the summer 2021 and was 1 star. There food has definitely gone down hill. Also do not order Scallops from here. Twice on two separate Togo orders (2021).
