Who ever is in charge of operations here should be absolutely embarrassed.
I showed up on a Saturday and placed an order via their kiosk at around 1pm. The kiosk stated that I would recieve a text when my food was ready.
Similar to other Panera locations they have an electronic board to show you where your order is. I did not see my name listed. In speaking with other patrons, their names were also not listed (confirmed that they either ordered by the same kiosk or from the person at the counter). It seemed like the board was only displaying orders made via the app.
I began to look around and noticed that most every table did not have food, and the amount of people waiting around the pick up counter was growing and those people were getting frustrated. I noticed at least 3 different customers ask the staff preparing food where their order was. It was apparent that the staff was overwhelmed and under prepared for the lunch rush.
Once my wait time got to 30 minutes, I went to the register to get refunded. It took them a minute to find the order because so many orders had come after and I noticed a couple of others followed my lead after to get refunded.
This franchise location needs better management, better training, and potentially more staff at busy hours. If you know there is going to be a longer than normal wait, they should be able to communicate that to their customers.

Read moreWent there yesterday. Ordered a Roast Beef Sandwich to eat there. Finally found a seat and after waiting for 15 minutes I decided to change my order to go. A very nice young man tried to assist me and told me there were a lot of orders ahead of mine and asked the manager to assist me. The manager was extremely rude and unfriendly stating I Have to wait my turn for my order. I then asked for a refund because I could not wait that long for a sandwich, at which time she informed me that since she just got there I had to wait for a refund. She finally came back and told me she would get me my sandwich and walked away. I tried to tell her I was sorry for being a problem to which I receive NO response. She handed me my sandwich I said thanks, again no response. When I got home and opened my sandwich it was NOT roast beef it was something with bacon and chicken or something which I did not enjoy. I will never go to that location again and you should train your managers better. In my place of business the motto is that your customers sign your paycheck. Customers need to know if they have to wait that long when placing their order, waiting that long should only happen in a place where you can sit and get served not having to run around looking for a table and get your own beverage, your food is good but it’s not that good !!!!!!!! Read more11/2024 Panera bread : I wanted to give it a “1 star!!” Because the coffee was the worst I have ever had. It tasted bad and the cup was filled with coffee grounds . Non of it was a good experience for me ! I am gluten-free celiac and a vegetarian. They used to have a nice GF bean soup that I could have and my other friend who is also a strict vegetarian. I find it hard to have anything there since they got rid of that soup. It’s a huge project just getting a salad without meat, fish or chicken or bread in it, it’s not a nice dining experience. but it is crowded there so there is a need for a casual place to eat . You can’t even read the menus with your glasses on they’re so far away and so small!
