I will try not to make this lengthy but there was an 'incident' that had happened here that I must address.
Last night I came here a bit before close and was sat at a booth. It was a very cold night and I had taken my motorcycle out for a night ride. This was the only place still open that I could actually go inside. So I did.
I wasn't even that hungry, just needed to escape the cold. I sat down and picked up the menu to browse. The blond waitress literally just stood there like a potted plant with her pen to her booklet as I literally JUST started looking at the menu. FYI people need a few mins to decide what they'd like to eat.
Honestly at the time - I didn't even care, but after the 'incident' that happened after I left, this was extremely rude and made me feel rushed.
I hate to make this personal but this is relevant. I am currently going through one of the worst and most gut-wrenching hardships of my life right now. I recently lost the absolute love of my life. The woman I was going to spend the rest of my life with. Depression is a far understatement as to my mental state right now. The anxiety is absolutely crippling and the depression is overwhelming.
Anyone whose been through hardship knows that good restful sleep is very scarce while suffering so greatly. This is the most sleep deprived I have ever been in my life by far.
Sometimes your brain and body is just so fatigued that it just shuts down at unexpected moments when you are literally running on fumes.
Unfortunately, while I was eating I had put my head down to rest and must have nodded off. The waitress very casually came over and asked if I was OK. I said yes. I finished my meal, paid the bill and left.
The incident - The most downright cowardly and spineless act that has ever happened to me in recent memory. Instead of showing compassion and asking if I needed help or genuinely asking if I was OK maybe it would have helped.
But no, this waitress decided to assume I am some drunk bum that passed out at the bar and call the cops on me behind my back.
As I walk out to the parking lot I am immediately surrounded by 4 Hanover Police cruisers. The officers get out and immediately start interrogating me about my day and why I'm there and where I am headed and so on and so forth. I was sober as a bird so I ended up being fine.
But to go behind my back and call the cops on me for falling asleep while going through the most brutal and devastating hardships of my life is the lowest form of scum I can think of.
To the blond waitress - I truly hope you become more compassionate about people and not judge so quickly. Always treat people with kindness as you never know what someone is...
Read moreSorry, no longer worthy of the 5 star review I gave 4 years ago, those days are over. This last visit was terrible. The wings were undercooked, the sauce was lackluster, service was obviously strained as we had long waits albeit someone was also training but not an excuse for the kitchen unless they were training too. We were a party of 5, none of us left that night feeling satisfied, everyone had a reason for not liking their meal. For the amount we paid, this shouldn't be that disappointing but here we are...
To be honest, the Hanover, MA location is my only spot where I can provide an opinion on, what I can say is over the past few years since open, nothing has improved, all things I have enjoyed haven't ever been consistent and I am at a point I am always second guessing whether it's worth my while to bring the family.
Takeout has been just as disappointing, never have we ever had a complete order, the staff has a clear issue with attention to details and I mean the simple things as we're not asking for out of bounds request but regardless it never seems to fail.
Whatever isn't working here isn't a mystery, the pandemic cannot take all the credit for this, we've been patrons since this establishment opened and it's been on a downhill since. It's glaring failure that maybe management has just reconciled and is OK with disappointing patrons. That being said, this isn't fast food, a lot of money was spent in attempt to have a good meal for family and myself.
Attention management - Please take time to read my grievances here, they're valid and I'm sure we're not the only ones leaving your establishment disappointed. This is unfortunate, because we adored the foundation of what BWW was and hope to see it go back to that some day but we're not going to put much faith that will be any time soon. My go to for some good wings with a ton of...
Read moreI'm glad this happened again because people really need to be aware of this!!! The other week I came into this location and a male waiter assisted with our drink order and appetizer meal while watching a game. When ready to leave I indicated that I would be paying the bill for the entire table and two of my coworkers would be placing a separate order which was to go, and they would have separate tickets amongst themselves. The waiter told me to scan the QR code to make the payment. Although I would rather just get the check per se he insisted that I pay through the QR code. Well in the middle of paying and it went to go through it prompted a message saying the bill had changed in the amount. So, I thought that's weird we were done so I called him over and looking at my phone he placed all the "To Go" orders on my tab. Well, he said no big deal I'll remove them, and it should go right through. Here is the part that people need to pay attention to. When I paid the bill and I selected the 20% tip tab, Well when he added all the additional items to my bill that we specifically told him was separate the 20% tip automatically increased when the bill went up. I called the manager over and he seemed to be surprised and as he expressed it would get fixed and gave me a new receipt guess what? Nope they still charged me the entire amount which they upsold. So, the waiter got a 60% tip. Called back 5 days later and still no fix. Here is the part that's even more frustrating.... I went back the following week and the EXACT SAME THING happened. I will be escalating this to the corporate office and if this is something that these people are doing it's stealing. Not once but they did it twice which makes me assume it's intentional for sure. I would express to every customer walking in to this place to watch for this type...
