(After posting a picture of the Club Supreme sub that was missing the Bacon, and noticed it got deleted, I edited and added the picture again..to just see it got deleted again. Funny how the picture of the sub that got made right isn't deleted lmao. I don't know why the sub that they messed up keeps getting deleted. It's very suspicious. Clearly someone isn't happy they don't know how to do their job ( make a sub correctly) I'm changing my rating from 4 stars to 1.
My original post : First time trying. Okay food, good size for price. Good packaging with numbers on bag (as seen in pictures of subs below) Got the #8 Club Sub & #9 Club Supreme, both without onions. On the #8 Club they forgot the bacon, and it had alot of oregano that over powered the taste of everything else on the sub. #9 Club Supreme had everything we ordered with small amounts of bacon, and didn't have to much oregano so it turned out okay. We didn't have bacon added to the subs, it was included in the Club Subs, and it felt like the bacon was skimp on the one it got put on. On the other sub the bacon was forgotten. We might try again, hopefully...
Read moreDecided to give this place a try for the first time, on a Saturday afternoon. Actually got there exactly at 5:00 p.m. first impression, they had run out of sub rolls. A sub shop on a Saturday afternoon that runs out of sub rolls? They did have a few left over whole wheat sub rolls which were a little stale, but since we were there we got them. One of the staff behind the counter was incredibly pleasant end helpful, and the other was miserable. The floor behind the counter was littered with dropped fixings like lettuce and tomatoes. And my impression was that had been going on all day. As far as the actual food goes, we got the grilled portobello sandwich for my wife, which was actually very tasty. I ordered the bacon ranch chicken cheesesteak, which was a disaster. The filling seem to have been all run through a meat grinder and turned into a paste. And it just was not tasty whatsoever. I do know that Jersey Mike's is a franchise operation, and others have told me that other locations are really good. But I can tell you that we will never go back to...
Read moreSo, finally decided to try Jersey Mike's as i had a coupon and they had gluten free rolls. Young lady at the counter was ok, not particularly engaged, I figure she was busy. I found that they do not have fresh garlic to put on. I also asked for it toasted. The person said something like, "well yeah". My point is that the roll that came out was soft and not in any way toasted. The sub itself was pretty good besides that. The picture shows the sub with 2 bites out of it. They were out of straws and I think lids as well. The portion for the price was not bad, counting my $2 coupon. Compared to having no access to a steak and cheese sub on a GF bun, this was pretty good. Compared to the recent, fantastic experience I had at a little restaurant in PA, this place can't hold a candle. Update, I decided to give them another shot. Same sub, no drink this time. Once again, gf bun was yummy but zero effort was made towards the toasting I requested. Do they just not get the concept...
