Never going back to the Hanover Wendy's. Manager had a medical issue and handles the food with no gloves. I went to get breakfast and I ordered on the app. I walked in and waited for about 30 minutes for someone to notice I was standing there waiting for my food. Everyone in the back noticed I was there but still no one approached me. Finally the manager or lead looks at me and says sorry, he asked me what I ordered and I told him. My food wasn't even prepared yet after the 30 minutes. He comes back over to me with my cup and says "do you know where the nearest urgent care is?" At this point I was just shocked that an employee is asking a customer this type of question. He then sticks out his hand and says "look at my finger, it's red and swollen and look how it looks compared to my other one." I'm extremely grossed out at this point and ready to walk out. He wasn't wearing gloves or anything to cover his hand. Needless to say I grabbed my food and walked out. I did not feel comfortable eating the food and hoped to cancel it on the app or request a refund. Wasn't able to find that option in the app. I laughed when I got a survey sent to my email. I even selected "yes I would like to be contacted" nothing came out of that. I didn't want to bother requesting anything from him as I feel like it would go no where and he would start going off about his personal issues which were already brought up to me from him. So, never going back again. Absolutely disgusting and someone with a red swollen finger should not be handling food. Where's the health inspector when...
Read moreHonestly Iâve never been to this Wendyâs (I live in Florida now) But I just read a post on FB and commend this Wendyâs and a unknown associate who left a note for Officer Michael Chesnaâs wife! This is was a beautiful gesture, In todayâs world we need more of this, to the Kind Hearted associate much love to you and your family!! Itâs the little things that make the world a better place. Two years ago next week I met a woman named Cindy who is now a dear friend. I met her after her 42 year old husband Officer Michael Chesna was killed on the job in Weymouth along with Vera Adams. He left two beautiful little kids and Cindy. To say the past two years have been excruciating for Cindy is an understatement. But the support of her family and friends and strangers get her through. She just texted me and said it was okay to share: âI was having a bad day yesterday and took the kids to Wendyâs near my house for dinner. Mike used to go there every Wednesday after basketball. I opened my bag when I got home and this was in there. They gave it to me with my order made me bawl. I know you believe in signs so I wanted to share. No idea how they knew it was me.â To whoever did this at the Wendyâs in Hanover thank you for making the world a better place and for...
Read moreHave been to the drive thru several times. Each time I say service can't get worse and each time they prove me WRONG. To the person taking the order was rude with their responses. Getting to the window had to wait 10 minutes as four employees stood behind the person taking orders just socializing. They collected my money then one got the sandwich placing it in the counter then went back to talking. A second person came to the window and asked me to pay for the next order. Realizing NO ONE was preparing the orders they ran off to get my order which turned out to be cold. When I arrive there was one car in front of me when I left the line was 5 cars lone at 9pm at night.
My advise if you want Wendy's is go down one exit onthe highway and order from the Rockland one. Service is prompt and the food is hot.
Or, and I hate to think of doing this, go to McDonald's or Chic filet...
