really dont like putting businesses down however this is for everyone who buys food there. The service has been terrible since Covid and they re opened. Its not the employees fault. They are always short handed. However today I went to the counter, ordered food for the family and watched a large roach walk right behind the server. The floor had fries all over it as it seems to always be the case. I told the server to cancel my order and that she had a roach walking behind her and she just looked at it and stood there. I know many restaurants may have a bug issue but when they start walking around in daylight with people working I would tend to wonder what happens when the lights are out. Perhaps they don't even have an exterminator contracted. Who knows! But anyway, Just wanted to let you all know. Unfortunately the next closest one is Hardeeville and the management dont treat the employees any better there. I said good morning to a lady who works behind the counter and she told me how it was not a good morning because she has to have back surgery. This is an employee mind you. So unprofessional. Speaking of unprofessional, the new manager allowed a food delivery guy ( with supplies for the restaurant) behind the counter at the food holding area without a mask on and he was a mouth breather, possible exhaling COVID-19 laced spit near the food ! He left and she gave us our food, which they'll now seal up in a bag with a sticker. We asked where our jalapeno bites were and she just pointed to the bag and rolled her eyes. So unprofessional! I really wish that they would close this store and build a restaurant where the workers are competent and friendly. This is not the first run in with this specific store I've had before. I read coupon code, had money ready. Pulled to the window, again waited, she took payment and handed me my coffee and bag. All my food was just tossed in the bag. Hashbrowns no longer in its paper sleeve. NO napkins, No sugar, NO cream, NO stirrer. Nothing but a bag of partially wrapped food. Once I arrived to work, I realized that they had given me the WRONG sandwich and even that was not luke warm. It was cold. My first job was at Burger King which eventually lead to a brief stint as a manager, so I have an undying loyalty to the company, But You can except almost anything if the service is great and sometimes you can accept almost anything if the FOOD is hot and delicious...but when BOTH are bad...it's a problem.
