The whole experience was horrible from start to finish. We were very mislead by the first sales rep who told us to hold off on purchasing in Bluffton and to go see him in Savannah so he can give us a better deal. Go down to Savannah, yeah no deal was made as the price he gave us there was the exact same. We then ended up purchasing from another sales person who got us all set. We ordered back in early September and they told us it would a 6 week turn around for all items which was fine as we were not moving in until Nov. I myself then call to ensure we are all set and I get so someone who says it is pushed back a week..ok..frustrating as no one called me to tell me this and I called myself called. Got all my items except my bed and bed frame when I asked where that was they said ohh thats on back order and you wont get it for another two months. WHAT!? Once again, was no one going to call and tell me this. The lady then says that my sales rep should have been in contact. No, he took his commission form us and never heard from them again. After complaining we finally ended up with everything as needed within another three weeks and not two months. I once again called every week and they kept changing the date to sooner and then later, sooner and then later. Very horrible time framing. I really don't want to hear that COVID is the reasoning because the communication is the problem and not Covid. I then have my bed frame for less than a month and it broke Christmas morning when I looked at the wood, it was not even really wood. It was glued together saw dust. It was the cheapest material and pallets for the mattress to sit on. I then asked for a refund which they refused and said the would replace it. I told them no and that the bed frame was horrible and does not work with the mattress I also bought from them. I exchanged it for another alternative and instead of saying we will come pick up the broken bed frame free of charge and give you the alternative they wanted to charge me $70 delivery fee. No, I will go get it myself. After getting to the warehouse they said that I had to bring the bed frame to them and that they wont give me the new stuff unless they had it. They said they texted me to bring it to me however, they sent me dozens of messages over the past two months with meaningless information. Whatever, finally after all my hardships they decided they would pick up the old bed frame and drop off the new stuff free of charge, they just wont set it up. Read moreI am only giving 2 stars because everyone that I have dealt with has been great. I purchased a sectional couch, and 2 dressers in April and were told they should be in at the end of May or beginning of June. I finally had enough in the middle of June when I hadn’t received anything and went to the store and was told that nothing would be delivered until the end of July. Thankfully they pushed my order to get my dressers. When the delivery guys came, they brought the dressers and one piece to my sectional. When we took the dressers out of the box, one of them was damaged. I called and they said we would get a brand new one then got a call the next day stating that the dresser had been discontinued and they would send a repair man out to fix it. I went to the store and asked for a discount because this is a $600 dresser that I bought brand new and now it would have to be refurbished. I received a $50 Ashley gift card in which they then canceled the repair man because “we got a discount”. My husband called and thankfully they sent us the parts to the dresser that we have to put on ourselves. Our couch has been delivered piece by piece, and every time we have called to ask about pieces of our couch the delivery date is pushed back further and further. We even asked if they could take the one piece of the the couch back, which was the corner piece of the sectional, and just take the couch off of our purchase so we could go somewhere else so we could buy a couch that would come in all together and on time and they told us they couldn’t do that due to Covid. The one piece we had, sat in our dining room in the plastic and everything for over a month before we finally got another piece to our couch. We’re still waiting on the third one but apparently that won’t come in until the end of next month. This has been the worst purchasing experience I have ever had and after I pay off what I bought, I will never purchase from Ashley again. Read moreLet me start by saying I really enjoyed our sales associate, Myra. She was outstanding! However, after purchasing the ball was dropped...multiple times. We didn't get our furniture set up for delivery for 6 weeks. The day its set to be delivered we were delivered the wrong color sofa and the wrong loveseat all together. They took the sofa back with them and left the loveseat. The loveseat is broken and clicks every time you sit on it so I don't want anyone sitting on it to cause further problems for furnitire that isn't mine, which means I have no living room furniture to sit on. I called customer service to see what needed to be done to get the correct furniture delivered and was told they would call me back after speaking to the store manager. I never received a call. I called back again and was told the same thing. Never received a call. I called the store myself and spoke with Brad. He said he had to call distribution and he'd call me back. Never received a call. Finally after a long game of my phone tag, my husband walked him through the process to find out where my furniture was and pretty much did his job for him. He told us we would be recieving it today, a week and a half later. I've been waiting on a call to confirm delivery today and haven't heard anything. Finally my husband gets in touch with Brad and he says he has no idea if its even scheduled, he has to make a call and call us back. The furniture is not in stock today and "should" be in tomorrow, which means I "could" receive it Tuesday but he isn't sure. So we're looking at 2+ weeks with nothing in my living room to sit on. Both my husband and myself have worked and managed retail stores and this is simply not how you manage problems if and when they do come up.
