So rude. The Dairy Queen in Richmond Hill had messed up my blizzard and we were driving north and didn't realize until we were well on our way. Stopped by this Dairy Queen asking them if they could fix the mistake (it was a small blizzard, wouldn't break the bank for them to just do it... it's ANOTHER DAIRY QUEEN) and the guy REFUSED telling me "it's not my problem". Seriously? You're a Dairy Queen. Blizzards cost the company about 15cents. You're going to lose customers for life, get a bad review, and get reported over a small blizzard that another Dairy Queen screwed up? Like I get it, YOU PERSONALLY didn't make the mistake but your chain did. It's the same company. I showed him my receipt and the FULL blizzard and everything. There was no line, he wasn't doing anything else, just felt like being a jerk I guess. I work in customer service. When a store is a chain, and a customer had an issue at another chain, I fix the problem with a smile. I called corporate and they told me he should have just fixed it for...
Read moreI have been too this location a few times now and can't say any one time was that great of an experience. Last time I was shocked when the girl behind the counter told me she was not allowed to accept my change because she had already punched the whole dollar amount I had given her into the register. It's really sad when an adult is unable to count back change, but why would we put that adult in charge of money? Then today my fiance ordered a medium chocolate dipped cone and when she handed it to him, she said she was sorry that the ice cream got soft on her. She handed him a real mess. The cone was dripping chocolate all over the paper and on the 10 napkins she gave him with it. The ice cream had like went flat and mushroomed out over the sides ofe so glad to see the u the cone. He now has ruined a pair of shorts and his t shirt. Btw the same girl waited on !him as me last time so not only can she not count change back, she also can't make the ice cream dishes we know and love? So why is she...
Read moreThe employees looked absolutely miserable. We walked in when the cashier was out on break and many customers behind us left because they were impatient. We only waited a few minutes which is fine but they should leave a note saying they are on break to lessen the confusion.
During a busy dinner rush there only seemed to be one employee running each side of subway and dq. However, when the cashier returned from break despite looking like she had a really rough terrible long day she made our drinks quickly and gave my husband loaded toppings for his blizzard which was very kind of her.
The restaurant itself looked really rough and messy too but that didn't surprise me at all given the fact that there was only one person running the whole thing all day.
Needs more employees, management obviously left this place for dead but I could see that the cashier we had today did her best. Quality of food was...
