I placed an order online before leaving work for a “Giant” Hoagie. My husband picked it up, and to our surprise it was a “regular” size. The fact that it was wrong and I paid for the larger size wasn’t so bad, thinking I would call, speak to a Manager and it would be handled. I called, the phone rang numerous times, I get it, it’s Friday it’s busy, but then someone picked up the phone and just it hung up! It went south from there. I’ve had this same problem before, and I just stopped ordering from this store. And here we go again. I called TWO more times and no answer. So the fourth time I get through and I am a bit annoyed. A girl answers the phone, and I tell her my story, she was rude, so I asked for a Manager. While I am on hold, keep in mind “hold” is the phone on a counter where I can hear everything they are saying, a young man is complaining about a customer with a wrong door dash order, and how he was a “pain” and so on, in addition the young lady who answered the phone starts bashing another customer and how stupid they are. Finally, a young man answers the phone, by this time I am pretty mad. He was a shift supervisor, I told him that while on hold I heard every word they said. He had absolutely no reaction. None. I asked for a manager, no one was there, as this went back and forth I asked who he calls if there is an issue at the store, he says no one, he takes care of it himself. My head was going to pop. I finally get the owners name. After I get the name, the shift supervisor, tells me to bring my receipt back to the store. That went back and forth.. All I wanted is the difference between the regular and giant refunded when I made the call. After all this, I finally get a refund, and they lost a customer for...
Read moreBy far the worst Jersey Mikes I’ve ever been to. This locations staff and or management has got to be the worst I've ever seen. They don't bother to start making pickup orders until you arrive and ask for it and then don't even tell you when it's done. I arrived 20 minutes after my order when the app said 15 so I wouldn't have to wait since I have a short lunch break. When I arrived I was told they were just starting my cold sandwich. I sat and watched as 15 other sandwiches were made and my food was still not ready. 30 minutes later when I asked them about it they said oh it's ready you're supposed to ask. Really? They knew I was there waiting for the food as I had just talked to the girl and she what immediately forgot? Apparently in house orders are more important and they didn't want my business. What was I supposed to interrupt them every 2 minutes and ask again if my food was ready? No they'd think that was rude and they were already rude to me. I wasted my whole lunch break just waiting for my food. When I finally get my food it's soggy and sloppily made. I've had similar experiences at this location in particular and keep trying to give it another chance but it...
Read moreI love Jersey Mike's, but this particular visit irked me. They don't qualify as a five star deli, and their recent service hiccups have cost them another one. The food is great, though.
This location.. not sure what's going on, but my past few visits, half the staff has been new and clueless. There'll be two people really on top of things, and two more who I wonder if the restaurant would work better if they weren't there.
There was an incident with a customer getting their card declined. Now that's lousy, but it took the register worker 15 minutes to clear it up. She should have put that order to the side and rung up the other people in line-moreover, one of the skilled workers should've jumped in to save her.
It didn't need to happen and it's just the most recent example of service falling on its...
