All right I have to chime in about this place. I go here at least twice a month and have for years. It is by far the best Chinese buffet in town even when their were way more options it was the best. At this point you are asking yourself why 3 stars then? Well their is a few reasons. 1, the staff seem super rude and pretend to not speak English (I’ve heard them speaking it just fine) but I’ve heard some things from a friend that definitely gives them a reason to not so happy though. (Whole other story) They could still try a bit harder and be more gracious. Maybe it’s a culture thing? I don’t really know. 2, Over the past few years it has gotten a lot dirtier. Bathroom is about as clean as An East HS bathroom and that’s being kind. The cool water feature they had out front broke at some point and they never emptied all the water so it’s just getting nastier by the day. On the plus side it’s almost completely dried up now. 3, every booth and table is broken or ripped in some way. It’s like they just decided they didn’t care about appearance anymore. Despite these flaws I do happily return even though they have raised their prices yet again. The food is fresh and tasty 90% of the time and that’s still an A where I come from. The sushi is always on point and my record is 86 pieces. The one thing that has never happened to me here even after that 86 pieces of sushi is I’ve never gotten sick and the other buffets in town have made me sick. Read moreI recently visited this buffet with my two children and my younger brother, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. From the moment we entered, we felt unwelcome, as several staff members and patrons kept giving us unpleasant looks, which made our visit uncomfortable. While my child was serving himself ice cream, an accident occurred, and the ice cream fell. Instead of handling the situation calmly, a staff member became visibly angry and started yelling at us, saying things in another language. Her tone and demeanor were unprofessional, and the way she glared at us throughout the rest of our visit was disrespectful and unnecessary. I also felt singled out when she kept watching us closely and even made a point to tell us we couldn’t take the plastic cups used for ice cream, which we had no intention of taking. The entire interaction made our visit unpleasant and stressful, and I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome.
I believe all customers, regardless of background, should be treated with kindness and professionalism. This experience did not reflect that standard, and I hope the restaurant management takes steps to ensure better treatment of their patrons...
Read moreThis buffet had a lot of food to choose from. They kept the food stocked at all times besides the noddles they took a long time to bring them out. There food does not have much of flavor but can't complain. They sit you down with out asking you for a preference of table, the table they set us at was broken! Man's restroom had no paper towels to dry your hands. The lady taking care of my table was very very very rude and had no manners. As soon as I sat down with my plate she handed me my ticket to pay and told me to take my time as she handed my Receipt! She never ask if we wanted a refill for our drinks or if we needed anything else. We asked for another drink and she got mad 😠 they must not want people to have a good experience and return. Service is a key piece to a business no matter what kind of place it is. Maybe thats why they didnt have a lot of customers. We went around 3pm on a Friday there was not to many people.
