Hop Shop — Restaurant in Harlingen

I love the bands that go here, environment is great and most of the staff are great. Only issue I have is with a curly hair woman that works at the bar. She's extremely rude and disrespectful. Honestly never had issues with any of the staff but my friends that are girls have been pushed, yelled to move, and given ugly attitude by this specific staff member. The Hop Shop is the perfect place to go kick it with your friends especially on live music nights. It has a youthful vibe and the atmosphere is perfect if you’re into an alternative scene. There’s so many different types of bands and I believe they have karaoke. The only small issue is that there’s not many choices for drinks or food, but even then it’s on a busy street with plenty of options around....

I really like this bar. The bartenders I've seen seems to really be enjoying themselves. An overall good vibe here. They have a better beer selection here than the other small bars in harlingen. Only criticism is on the right side of the bar is a collection of glass skulls that resembles an occult shrine. IDK what that's all about but no...
