6•13•25 ok been a long while since we come back and give it another try ordered the 8 layer flour tortilla Taco yet they forgot my sour cream because it says on menu but they forgot to. The plate it was ok yet a bit dried vs. Past photos more moist Speaking of which they omitted alot of food on the menu which asado de puerco was not listed had to ask and said they still make it. Is it fresh idk or was it sitting there idk. Anyways was a decent meal but menu is alot smaller my pics will give you and update of the menu. Customer service was good the gentleman who attended us was good, I asked for Chile Serrano and there was none he said jalapeno I said raw I want raw brings back picked/jar for nachos I'm like no I want raw. They don't have Chile torriado (grilled) either so idk yet they give you salsa.. wait what?? ..

11•22•24 came in and had a quick bite, and it was delicious very nice, quiet meal, and your asado de puerco was very good with a flour tortilla. Major change from last time. The child's plate is well served, and very tasty, crunchy ground beef tacos are so good. Try them you will like them at a decent price with rice and beans. Thx tejano grill.

Came back again. I wanted asado de puerco. Now really T.G. seriously, who told you asado de puerco is pulled pork? Yes, it is the same pork, but seriously, the way it is prepared, it was disappointing, and i was shook. This was made like that. You all get your cooks set straight. This is an old mexi dish, man. Come on now. Do your homework if it was to be shredded, then label it or put "our version way shreaded pull pork asado de puerco." Then, to top it off, our servere was the worst, and we honestly waited 45 minutes to get our food. And yet incomplete. Still waited for another dish pending Sheesh! And what's up with your complimentary salsa still in a small child's play dish??? If your wanting to save on this then ask the guest would you like salsa then pour into a reasonable size dish otherwise this is so silly and ridiculous I called you out on the last review...

HORRIBLE SERVICE! DO NOT RECOMMEND!! My family was in town for the weekend and I recommended this restaurant since I’ve been here couple of times and food/service was ok back then. This time around my cousin ordered fish tacos where the waitress by the name of “INDY” mistakenly brought my cousin a fish plate. Therefore she advised waitress that is was the wrong order. Waitress Indy immediately said there was nothing she could do about it. After going back and forth with no apology or sympathetic response we called her manager to come out. Which was worse Manager “ STAR” made it more complicated by arguing back with my cousin telling her it’s her fault for not ordering and speaking correctly as she is protecting her waitress. After the waitress literally asked my cousin if she wanted corn /flour tortillas for her plate but instead brought her the fish plate instead of the tacos. Star the manager could have been more professional with at least apologizing first. She was rude and arguing back with my cousin (the customer) and telling her if she changes her order she will be having to pay for both orders now. How ridiculous! You would think a REAL manager who just simply apologize and make her order correctly but she refused. So my cousin end up not ordering anything for she was upset as anyone else would be. I’m stunned to see this manager be so unprofessional and handled this situation like a stubborn child. The pic I took is where she is arguing back with my cousin. I will report this to Better Business Bureau as well. This restaurant needs a better team manager and attentive employees and it’s time the owner...

There are too many restaurants in Harlingen to have to put up with bad service. First time dining @ Tejano Grill which I thought had more class than their competition before I went in but that was disproven very quickly when we were served by a waitress who didn't want to be there. They brought my 85 year old mother the wrong order. While I was waiting for my plate she bit into her beef taco & realized it wasn't the chicken tacos she had ordered. When we pointed out the mistake to the waitress she made a comment about my mother had already touched the food. Yes, she had. That's how she found out it was the WRONG order!. So I finally got my plate and she had to wait for them to make the correct order. To top it off the waitress spent way too much time chit chatting with her friends at another table instead of attending to her customers. The manager must have been asleep because I noticed they have cameras and he/she would've noticed if he/she would've been paying attention to the staff. Although the food can be decent the experience is ruined by a waitress who decides to only be nice once the tip is about to happen. This was last night, Tuesday, February 6 2024. Would've only gave half a star but the system won't allow it. So one star is too much credit just like 15 percent tip was more than she deserved. I usually tip 20 to 25 percent but will spend my money where the service is much better and the servers are glad to have customers so they can have a job.
