Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Harrisburg

I was very disappointed with the recent experience that I had with this particular Pizza Hut. I ordered pizza for my class for a party which is normal however before I ordered it the usual Pizza Hut that I ordered from had some TERRIBLE reviews and it all stemmed from a lot of raw food being handed out to customers. Well, I did not want that so I chose the next one that I thought was closest which the GPS told it was 12 minutes away. I ordered from this Pizza Hut because they had great reviews and a 4.1. When it was time for the driver I guess to deliver the pizza he called me which is fine but he somehow said that the address to deliver did not come up. So, I gave him the address and he said he would call me back. He then calls me back a minute later to tell me that they do not deliver that far. I was highly disappointed in the fact that I had ordered pizza online and it went through and I said that to the gentleman and he basically just made me feel dumb by saying that this happens but they don't go out of their jurisdiction or something to that nature, but the only solution he offered me was that they're just going to have to cancel this order and refund it and he's sorry. Instead of saying to me we can hold it if you would like to come and try to get it if not then we refund it but this is not what he said. All he said was we're going to have to cancel this order and it'll take 72 hours to appear back in your account and we're sorry. Now I had to reorder pizza from your competitor and sadly they did worse and the pizza took two and a half hours to get to my school (preschool center) that I work at! But your competitor apologize and offered a solution for their ridiculous mistake! I said this to say I was very disappointed because I didn't know that you guys could not deliver to businesses that was 10 to 12 minutes away that just seems silly to me but not to even really say Well ma'am we're sorry you know maybe if you could come and get it or nothing. You all just don't mind wasting food and saying well cancel the order which means the order was already made because he was out for delivery but y'all just throw it in the trash! My students were very disappointed yesterday and I do not eat from pizza places but Pizza Hut so I didn't even get to enjoy the pizza with my students. Ordered Pizza (Harrisburg) 10/31/21 @ 10:33pm & our order was out for delivery by 10:48 pm. The store closed at 11pm. Really fast service I thought. My order consist of 1 large Pizza (veggie toppings/extra cheese), cheese bread and a 2 liter drink. Totaled to $33.41. The delivery guy was really friendly and he reassured me that my order was correct. So, I made sure I gave him a $10.00 tip. I gave my husband 2 slices and some soda and I had 1 slice and 1 cheese bread. After almost 2-3 hrs later after going to bed my husband stomach started to hurt and then he kept rushing to the bathroom. I didn't think much about it until I too started cramping really bad, sweating profusely and rushing to the bathroom. Convinced that eating Pizza from Pizza Hut was causing our FOOD POISONING issues I called today 1/1/21 to speak with the manager who was Alexis. I told Alexis everything that happened & asked for a refund. I was even willing to send the remainder of the food back! Alexis(mgr) told me since I was the only person that had an issue then she couldn't do anything! I was even told to contact another mgr at 4pm today and tell her my entire story again! Why be a manager when you have no say so! My complaint isn't about the taste of the food, but the fact that my husband and myself had gotten sick as well as a crappy so-called manger Alexis response! Whoever the lady is on the closing shift is just as rude and nasty as you could be. I ordered a pizza at 9:15. It arrived at 10:58pm. The store called and left a message saying they were outside. I went downstairs and checked both sides of the street. Nothing. I then called the store back. Nothing. I repeated this 6 times, and got nothing. I go to the store and arrive at 11:15pm(the store is about 8 minutes away). I see the closer exiting and I ask her if there was anyway I could get those pizzas I'm sure they brought right back. Got "you should've answered the phone,.......... were closed". Now I used to work at a pizza hut and I know exactly what happened to my $40 order. I'd be willing to bet its not in the trash. The lady also told me the order was canceled which I can't find any evidence of. Wouldn't be the first time pizza hut claimed they delivered then ignored my refund request. But this time i actually have "the time". Crazy how I was sooo patient with my wait time but when the pizza arrived at 3 minutes before close they couldn't wait 3 minutes.
