I thought a bowl would be much larger. This looks like a cup of tomatoe soup. Keep in mind. The bread is my free item. So, I paid, 8.55 for a bowl of tomatoe soup that is now put in the size of what use to be a cup of soup. Or has this always been the size of a bowl of soul at Panera Bread. I come to this location all the time for the broccoli and cheese soup and the bowl for some reason, seems larger. Perhaps, I am wrong but, the price of this bowl, oh, I mean, cup of tomatoe soup, won't get another swipe of my bank card. I would normally be happy and my stomach would be statisfied. It didn't even, come with a small drink. Please tell me, why you guys, put the bread in the bag, without covering it in clear wrap or a napkin. So, hands touch the outside of the cups, then you guys expect the customers to be happliy contaminated. What happened to wrapping the utensils in napkins. Come on now. We pay for the convince of grabbing something fast to eat and I for one, appreciate the fact that we have people still willing to work in fast food resturants, with all the craziness, going on in this messy world. But, enough is enough of popular chains, jumping on the bandwagon, to raise prices, that don't need to, they just choose to want to. Panera, your chain is everywhere. Like you guys are hurting for money. This location is not even that old. If you were going that broke, why continue to open more resturants, verses closing doors, to stores. The quality of food is good. The tomatoe taste good. My problem is not with the quality, it is with the price, for quanity. I will return, when you guys offer a bowl of soup that is, in all honesty a bowl of soul. And not that little cup of soup. Like, your customers are too stupid to know. Please to make up any excuses because a cup is a cup and bowl is a bowl. Period. Just do the right thing, by the cosumers who pay to keep you open. I am not even sorry. I don't have one once of conviction in my heart for my comment. Jesus, must approve of this message. I'm...
Read moreIt’s me Stef! It’s been a while….. breakfast in Harrisburg between 9am-10am Tried the cinnascramble with a folded egg… cheese:.. no sausage , with an Americano. I ordered at the kiosk. This is clearly “the other side of town” clearly something like Mayberry….another review says this is a “ safer” location than the University area location …. lol!!! The university location is across the street from an urgent care and less than five minutes from a police department…. How much more safe can you get than that???? This Mayberry/ Harrisburg location …. What is ‘safe’?…..🤣🤣…..Oops… sorry I was just distracted by a nose blower in the dining area….. ( ummm bathroom please?!?!?!) I’m glad my food is already in my belly…. ( and here come the ‘coughers’ at the next table ) Ok. I’m back. It’s funny how at the kiosk it asks if you want to tip the staff…. And the staff doesn’t even say good morning ( yall know my background is 90’s customer service) I’ll keep this one short. Try the cinnascramble …. It’s new… it was prepared neatly … the sweet with the egg and cheese is always a delight to the palette… Americano was nicely done .
I picked it up from the little counter myself … so who am I tipping again? Food is great. Space clean and bright Outlets to hook up your usb cable/laptop… electrical outlets near the high tops Definitely too early for the staff to say hi, hello, or good morning … so not very impressed with the friendliness… one associate just walked into my space to help another guy picking up a coffee order….. she wanted to check it to make sure it was right …. That’s fine … but say excuse me….. or good morning before you approach another persons social space …. Not a huge thing but in the moment - it mattered.
I’d come back . The food was consistent with my first visit. The kitchen definitely gets a 10 out of 10.
It’s me...
Read moreWe haven’t had Panera since law school, when we basically ate it every day. We ordered delivery for the nostalgia after checking their website & seeing they had a seasonal/limited edition cherry pastry & beef dippers on the homepage. Our order arrived sealed & the 2 cherry pastries were not inside. They were $4.95 each plus tax, convenience fee, delivery fee, etc. It’s frustrating when you have to spend dinnertime calling the store on missing items: We ordered 2 identical new dipper sandwiches (no mods), a Med salad to share (no mods), & the 2 cherry pastries, so essentially half of the order was missing? This was all $60+ for Panera okay? We called the store & were offered to drive to the store to pick up the missing pastries… hello, we would’ve driven there to order if we could’ve, so that’s not a helpful solution. We were then put on hold & had to wait for a manager to come to the phone who was authorized to process a refund. He seemed unsure whether we’d get a refund confirmation email & said if we did it could take an hour to go through. We did receive the email, but it was a refund for a flat $10.00, so they’re pocketing change on the missing/undelivered food - we looked it up & the delivery fee for 2 pastries is $1.00, taxes are around $0.75, & the convenience fee - which is for “developing technology” & needs related to delivery orders lmao - is $0.90. We are so grateful it wasn’t the main meal that was left out, & we are grateful we are not in a position where we needed to get the exact refund amount back, but we just won’t be wasting money on unreliable delivery. This was our first experience back in about a decade & it will...
