The Splash Pad is a wonderful asset to Harrisburg Park. Completely satisfied with great service and accommodations by Splash pad employees on many visits. I appreciate the capacity limit to ensure a safe and fun time. A recent visit I was sad to see grown adults treating staff very poorly because they were asked to wait because they had not planned ahead to register. Especially when a family wanting to admit 14 members for a birthday on a weekend day who had not made reservation's . The way staff was treated was horrible and rude. the grace and patience the young employees showed is to be commended. Also, those adults inside that expected staff to babysit their children was also unacceptable. Please read rules and guideline before coming in and show patience and understanding.
Parents/Guardians are required to supervise their own children at all times. Although we do have staff at the splash pad to check attendees in, clean between waves, and sell concession items, the staff does not supervise the splash pad during each wave. Children should NOT be allowed on the splash pad without adult/parental supervision! The slide is a highly utilized feature that requires additional parental/guardian supervision. Please instruct children to wait for their turn without crowding the top. We appreciate your assistance with this for the safety of all...
Read moreMy son and I just left there. We’ve been going to that park for years and I’ve been going to this park for over 10 plus years before my son was even born. Today these two little girls probably four and seven were walking this huge Pitt bull around the park without any adult supervision, they then began pouring a bottle of water into the dogs mouth. These dogs have been known to attack at random and maul people to death. I thought this was totally irresponsible on whatever adult was with them’s part. Later on the dog and the family it was with were all under a shelter and the dog was frequently barking at people. I think something needs to be put into place. A vicious dog of that breed should either not be at that park around little children or under an adult’s supervision. I’m not trying to see my son or any other innocent child viciously attacked or any...
Read moreWhat a cute place! It was a friend of mine who decided we should get our kids together and visit this place last month. She lives in Concord and I live in Mooresville. I arrived a little earlier then our designated time. Noticed the splash pad was off and empty. At first I was worried something might be wrong. But then realized that water is turned off and area cleaned up in between their waves which is a great. There's a lot to experience here but we only enjoyed the pad. I noticed the other areas and activities when I drove around. Both my friend and I kept saying how much we wished our towns offered a place like this. We are thankful you allow out of towners to visit even if it's for a fee. It's not much at all and worth it. Kids are back in school now but we hope to visit...
