Hey!! It’s me Stef🙋🏾♀️…. If you know me, and I know you don’t, you know I don’t do fast food all like that. But Daddy….on the other hand gets down with the likes of Burger King , Wendy’s, McDonalds …..Unfortunately they don’t have hot dogs soooo…. Here we were at Sonic burger - Harrisburg on a Wednesday evening between 7-7:30.
Drive thru was quick and efficient I’m super low maintenance so it does take a lot to please me …. The drive thru team member , super nice. Super patient. This is the only place for a hot dog ( of all things) with chili , onions and Cole slaw… ( daddy… super old school) Drive thru team member did a nice upsell from a regular hot dog to a foot long… nice. I tried the orange creamsicle cloud thing with the little orange beads in it 👀…. I’ll come back to that..
Pick up window: nice. Professional exchange. Smile … amazing…. A lot of people in customer service don’t smile at you .. some barely even look at you. That was very refreshing ..
So daddy gets his food- Footlong. Chili, onions, onion rings , sprite I get the orange cloud ice cream slush or drink thing with the beads.🫣
Presentation on the footlong was not great at all. Peep the pic…. Couldn’t tell if somebody’s ungloved fingers tore the hot dog bun or not but it was terribly sloppy and disappointing. I expected daddy’s order to be presented at the same level of drive thru customer service I received….. wait. Was that AI? Even if A I took my order , the young lady at the window was super pleasant !
Now …..the orange slushie cloud ice cream milkshake drink thing…..
There were these little orange beads in it … I wasn’t sure if I should chew it or what…. Then I realize that maybe you just suck them down your throat…I have food allergies so I took a chance with this one … If you get the right combination of beads, ice cream and orange slushie down your throat… it’s pretty good😓🤷🏾♀️
This visit: the hot dog was disappointing …. Presentation I’m fast food is important I just think someone should have done better with this footlong.
But…. Please keep smiling and being so nice and sweet and professional in the drive thru

Read moreSonics is always an alternative option to cooking at home. This location is always clean and the wait service is quick, always smiling and courteous. I love their burgers, but over the years, it seems like the taste of the food has changed. The burgers used to have a more homemade taste, but now it taste more like a manufactured taste (pre made frozen food taste). I still visit Sonics because I can always count on great services. I just do go as often. To be honest, I knew they were cutting back on cost and would begin to take away from the authenticity of their food, the day I only got, One Peppermint on my tray. In addition to this disappointment, what happened to those little red baskets that they used to serve the food on? It just seem as though, they have taken away all those little things that made it Sonics. This site is reporting I visited 11 months ago. Not true. I was there just this past Sunday, August 3, 2019. I would love to hear them at least offer if the order to go or eating at the drive in station. Read moreWent here at 1:33am expecting to get some good food. What we got was HORRIBLE customer service by a fat drive through cashier with stringy black hair and a HORRIBLE attitude. She said she couldn't hear us and asked us to speak up, and when we did she says "There's no reason to yell at me". Rather than argue, we pulled up to the window and tried to explain that we were only trying to speak up so she could hear us. She rolled her eyes and said "Sorry I was in the freezer. I didn't hear you." When we tried to smooth over the situation by saying "Look, I know it's been a stressful night for everyone, but we were not trying to yell at all", she says "Well I felt like you were being rude to me", and rolls her eyes again and sighs dramatically. So we drove away. We go to this Sonic literally all the time and have NEVER received customer service this bad before. You are NOT supposed to ARGUE with the customer. We will be speaking to a manager personally about this situation and hope to have it resolved. Until it's resolved, we're telling everyone we know to stay FAR AWAY from this Sonic, and maybe the whole...
