I got a carry out and got home and there was hair in my food and cold . I called up to the restaurant politely asking for them to make new food or a refund and the owner became extremely hostile over the phone, she stated that she will not be making anything new and she doesn’t care what is in my food or that it was cold. She stated she wasn’t going to debate about it. I asked for a refund and offered to bring the food back up there and she stated she didn’t want it And didn’t care as long as she got her money. I will never go back and am posting this on the advertising the burger on media to show how disgusting and disrespectful the customer service and this place of business is (word of mouth is the best advertising to help others to never come here). If you go to my page, I have posted a picture of the burger with the hair in it. This is clearly a white trash company, I only went there bc a friend had seen it an said let’s try this place. Of course it looks like a whole in the wall. Therefore, looks are not deceiving in this case. I am appalled.

Really great place, gives me that old timey feel. Got a burger, curly fries, fried pickles, strawberry shortcake sundae, and drinks. Burger was better than me going to get fast food so that was a plus, fried pickles weren’t bad but I’m not a fried pickle fanatic in general, seasoned curly fries were soooo good and they have that good watery ranch so it made it even better. LAST BUT NOT LEAST the strawberry shortcake... the best dang shortcake I might have ever had, I probably ate it all in a good 5 minutes. A really good place to go with friends but I’ll try some other things next time. Workers are very nice as well. (picture doesn’t do the sundae justice fr😣)

Spring is coming and so is my first venture to Eddie's iconic drive-in on Jefferson just south of metro Beach as it finally reopens. My favorite combo ,the big Eddie burger, curly fries and cherry coke, are brought to you by servers on old school roller skates while music from the 60's plays overhead. A bike ride about metro beach is a great way to finish the day off. Why are you waiting?

Very rude owner and staff. Was charged for food we didn't order and when tried to get the correct order we asked for we were told it was on us because even though the waitress wrote it down wrong it was on us since she read it back even though we heard back what we ordered but got wrong order. I had my autistic son in the back seat crying for his right order so at that point I had no choice but to pay for the wrong order in order to get my sons food and paye then forced to paye again. Then screamed at to leave and not come back which believe me we never will when we tried to figure out why we had to be charged for their mistaken food we did not ordered. Buyer beware here!! Do not pay until you check out thoroughly what's on your tray and unwrap it! We were even screamed at across the parking lot so sorry you aren't happy with your life, just because we didn't want to be taken advantage of. Never had owner argue with me in front of my special needs child especially at the restaurants mistake. We were even told mistakes happen which yes they do Im fine with that but why take advantage of the customer over it and make me paye for a meal I didn't order . Who does that?!? Stay away from this place the only reason for the cars that are there are the locals who like the nostalgia. They will take...

Took Grandkids this evening. Been going here close to 30 years and normally great food and service. Tonight not so much. Ordered a couple big red burgers, fries, chicken tenders, and kids burger meal, with assorted drinks. Waitress comes out with food takes fifty dollar bill to get change. While she is gone I pass out the food and drinks only to find I am missing one big Eddie burger. She comes back with change and I tell her she is a burger short. She leaves again I suppose to check the order. Comes back to tell me she missed one. I say OK and get me one. She goes up to counter and we never hear from her again. So after about 15 mins and everyone else finishing their meal we flag down another waitress. Tell her what happened and she apologizes and says let me get you one. Another 10 minutes she comes out with the burger and collects the money. I have had a lot of Big Eddie burgers over the years and I swear the burger was from a kids meal. Way smaller than the bun, and less than 1/4 inch thick. I suppose everyone has a bad day, and maybe it was the first waitress first day there. If it happens again though next time it will be my last visit...

I've been coming here for as long as I've lived in Michigan and this was the worst overpriced hot dogs and sides that I've ever had! The buns were stale, the hot dogs were even skinnier and dried up until it crunched biting in to it! Barely any chili. Everything was smothered in so much cheese to cover up the lack of everything that it was gross! The cost is ridiculous! Base price for hot dog $3.50-$5.50 plus $1.25 per topping?! The sauerkraut was minimal and disgusting. Thought about asking for owner or manager but I went to restroom and could hear them all talking inside. Between their foul mouths and total lack of caring about what they were doing, I knew better than to waste my breath! The waitress was wonderful. It wasn't her fault! I'll never be back. $60 for 4 regular hot dogs and 2 fries, and footlong and an onion ring (which were all a clump stuck together)! I could have had steak for that! You want a good hot dog go to Home Depot cart outside. Seriously, it's great! The ambiance here used to be amazing and you couldn't even find a place to park. Now it's heartbreaking, because at this rate the doors will be...
