I live in Pitman. I purposefully drive to Village Bagels because I felt they were the best value around for price and taste. Today made me do 180 on that belief. 1 bacon egg cheese, 1 sausage egg and cheese, 4 loose plain bagels and Nesquick. $27 was my bill. Sorry, I a have become a firm believer that once I get price gouged I cannot forgive.a loose bagel has no business costing more then a $1. Sorry, and I do understand how they are made. I believe their challenge is payroll and thus the high prices. Sorry but you don’t need 8 teenagers working behind a counter when they are tripping over each other on a Sunday morning. Then, the taste. Sausage lacked any flavor whatsoever. It tasted freezer burnt. It was on a blueberry muffin, tasted like a plain bagels. For these reasons, I’m out. Will drive to Times Square in Bellmawr for my next bagel trip. Then the gall to have a tip jar on the counter. If my bill were $18 and change which it was a 6 mo the ago for the same order, I would have left the change of a $20 in there for you. But since the owner has been one excessively greedy, see he or she for your tip, they collected that up front...

YUCK! No gloves or anything. Didn’t even wash her hands. I was really grossed out because I’m a big clean freak, but I think if you work in the food business, one of your major concerns should be SANITATION/CLEANLINESS. That was disgusting. I’m not...
Read moreVery friendly staff!! Great teamwork as well. Love going in and will drive 15 mins one way and bypass all the bagel shops near me just to have Village Bagels. I moved here from NYC, and while they're aren't quite NY bagels, they are the closest around here and that's a huge, huge compliment. Also, try their cold brew! I haven't been drinking coffee over the past few months because everything tastes overly sweet to me these days, but I tried their pumpkin creme cold brew and it's perfect! Not too sweet and doesn't have an overwhelming amount of pumpkin spice flavor which is fantastic imo. Anyhow, try this place! Both the food and coffee...
