Bittersweet Bakery — Restaurant in Harrisonburg

I chose this bakery to make my wedding cake and I have absolutely no regrets!! Communication was always great with Erica and she always answered any questions I had with clarity. I loved how reasonable her prices were and all the different kinds of flavors she offered! She was even happy to accommodate a custom flavor for us with turned out SO amazing. We went with a pineapple flavored cake, strawberry buttercream layered filling with a vanilla buttercream coat. We ordered our wedding cake and cupcakes from Bittersweet Bakery. They did such an amazing job from the tasting to the execution at the wedding yesterday. The cupcakes had extra decoration and flair that we were not expecting. Our guests were impressed with our cake and cupcakes quality and appearance. Erica (part-owner) has been so easy to work with, communication with me throughout wedding preparation and always answering my questions in a timely and professional manner. We had Bittersweet for our wedding. They did a variety of cupcake flavors (carrot cake and peanut butter/Nutella being our favorites) and cookies. Almost everything went and was loved by all the guests! Erica and Alicia were absolutely wonderful to work with! From the initial tasting, to the emails back and forth (we aren't from the area), to the set up on our wedding day, everything was wonderful! Additionally, their other treats are phenomenal - the cheddar garlic biscuit bombs specifically ;) and who doesn't love their pretzel nuggets!!
