Valley Turnpike Museum — Attraction in Harrisonburg

So I'm going to group this multi-use property all in one for this review. Visitor Center, two museums and a coffee shop. All were lights out good. The property was spotless and well maintained. The staff was outstanding. Food, history and travel information were excellent. Paid parking is plentiful in the area. I had full bars of Verizon 4G...

This is a small but nicely appointed one room museum. I don't consider it a primary destination but a nice to see add-on if you are in the area visiting other attractions. There is an additional one room museum in the same building that talks about the battles...

Very convenient and useful Visitor Center and free museum that features many brochures, museum store, bakery with outside seating and friendly staff...
