Hardesty-Higgins House Visitor Center — Attraction in Harrisonburg

If I could give this no stars, I would do so. The older lady that works at the help desk was VERY rude. Every job I have ever had has dealt with the public. I understand that some days are better than others. I also know that those emotions need to be in check when you come to work. The lady offered no help at all. She acted as if I had no idea what I was doing but also seemed to expect me to know what she was talking about. She was EXTREMELY impolite. They suggested that we visit the local Camber of Commerce for information on relocating to the area. The center is located in the center of town and is a beautiful building. A nice experience! Did not expect the small Cafe to have much available for an easy quick lunch, Surpise! It was very good. The information lady was quite pleasant and had the answers we needed. Rest Rooms were quite clean. Is a bit far from I-81 for a visitors center. College town with a BIG GAME....took is about 15 minutes...
