Overall, an ok/decent place for Ramen. I say this for a few factors, #1 The Tokotsu broth was flavorless and lacked structure. Why? A proper Tonkotsu broth will be pork based and be full of super creamy/fatty goodness. A watery edge tells me this wasn't proper Tonkatsu. It's one of the main players in this dish. Unfortunately, it tasted like they used a prepared pork base with water to mimic the broth. #2 The noodles were overcooked, I didn't mind the use of untraditional vegi (spinich), as it added a nice color balance (see photo). #3 The egg was overcooked, and it wasn't marinated, so it was flavorless. #4 It didn't seem as if any Tare was used as well. The pork was seared on one side, providing a texture to it, which was fine. Overall, the dish was OK. it just needs some passion and respect for its traditions and history.
#5 Service, while the server was friendly and attentive, service automatically looses point due to 2 things. A) when I walked into a mostly empty restaurant (only 1 table occupied) at noon, I was greeted immediately, and the person who greeted me turned around and asked if the other server wanted to serve me. That server said, "No, I'm good.". With me hearing this, it left the impression that I wasn't appreciated, and the wrong server mindset was used of 1-Top = no money! Either way, it seems that both servers didn't want to take care of (just a one top) me, even though I tipped 25%. B) This is the one that gets big points off. When my server orders food and eats it on the counter near to me in the open, and then comes and serves me without washing their hands, This is a Healthcode violation. It isn't professional to eat in front of your dining guests, and most of all, hygiene is critical in...
Read moreWe went for dinner, recommended by the nail tech at Massanutten. For appetizers we got the edamame, pork belly bun, and popcorn chicken. Out of the apps the pork belly bun was my favorite! You get 3 in an order. The edamame was alright, a little over steamed. The popcorn chicken was good and seasoned well. We also got the vegetarian crunch taco; you get a single fried seaweed taco shell, it was very good as well. For dinner I got the spicy tonkotsu and my husband got the curry ramen. The broth was really good, great flavor! I tasted the curry ramen also, that was flavorful as well but I liked mine better, the husband said his tastes the best. I got my son just a side of noodles and broth, which to my surprise was quite a lot. We also got some teas and a smoothie. The Thai tea was very flavorful and just the right amount of sweet (you can pick how much sugar you want, I got regular). Service was ok; there were only 2 servers on and half way through our dinner they got busier so we had to be patient. I would say if you need extra of anything go ahead and ask for it at the beginning (like napkins or sauces). We don’t live around here but we will definitely Be coming back on our next...

I was driving through I-81 looking for a quick bite and accidentally stumbled upon this spot — and I’m so glad I did! It turned out to be one of the best surprises of my trip. I needed something easy to eat while driving, so I skipped the ramen (even though it looked absolutely delicious!) and went for what I like to call "finger foods."
I grabbed some nigiri tacos — yes, tacos made with nigiri! What a creative twist. They were flavorful, fresh, and super easy to eat on the go. I also picked up a boba tea for the road, which hit the spot perfectly. Smooth, not too sweet, and great quality.
The place itself has a clean, modern vibe, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Even though I didn’t have much time to sit down and enjoy a full meal, I could tell they take pride in their food and service.
If you’re ever passing through and need a quick, delicious stop — this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back if I’m in the area again. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Asian fusion with a...
