We visited Thai Harrisonburg restaurant as we really love Thai food, and it's a place we haven't tried yet in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
The restaurant was very clean and the staff was cordial and friendly.
We started off with appetizers consisting of fresh rolls, chicken satay, and pork steamed buns. These were all very delicious and fresh, and they had a really wonderfully sweet peanut sauce for the satay.
For our main course, we each had a separate entree. I had the basil fried rice with a spice level of two accompanied by a Thai iced tea. The basil fried rice was absolutely perfect and made to order, while the Thai iced tea was strong and not watered down and succulently sweet.
Our other entree was the garlic stir fry with mixed vegetables. This was also delicious and slightly peppery to give it kind of a kick.
Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and looking for a wonderful...
Read moreSome of the best Thai food I have had. And I went to Thailand multiple times.
We ordered Massaman curry, Tom Yum, Papaya salad, Thai ice tea, Mango sticky rice, and Coconut pudding. All vegetarian. The Papaya salad was very rich in flavor. The Massaman curry is often delicious but too salty; not so here, as it was perfectly salted and well balanced. A small advice mighy be to boil the potatoes IN the curry instead of adding them after boiling. But there really are not any other improvements to be made as far as I am concerned.
On top of that our server Ooa was mild mannered and friendly, the decor was nice, everything was clean, and the music at soft volume. Wish every restaurant visit was like this.
Highly recommended. Well...

For starters we tried the wasabi dumplings (which I’ve never had before) and they were SO good! I could have left happy eating just those! The lunch specials serve the entree with a house salad, crispy roll and soup which was more than enough food and it was all amazing, especially the coconut soup! I had the green curry with shrimp for my entree and it was a little too spicy for my wimpy taste buds so I traded with my friend and I ate his chicken pad Thai. If I’m ever passing thru again, I’m definitely stopping by. The service, the restaurant and food was all worth 5...
