Subway — Restaurant in Harrisonburg

As with other fast food places, management makes a difference. Management seems to have changed. I had decent experiences here before, but I’ve had a very poor experience here the past 4-5 times between them not accepting coupons that state they are valid here, burning the sandwich too long in the toaster, making a mobile order sandwich wrong, and all 2-4 employees working not being able to understand how to work the cash register even without a coupon, so it should not be complicated. There is only one employee who is nice and if he’s not there, it’s a very poor experience. Today they again tried to say I couldn’t use a coupon which was fully valid as long as it wasn’t with another coupon (which it was not) and they blamed it on the cash register instead of actually trying to use their brain and understand my point. I placed an online order to pick up. I walked in and my order was not on the shelf so I proceeded to wait. One of the employees handed me a random sub that I noticed was toasted and I did not order mine to be that way. When I brought it to the employees attention she was very rude and snapped at me showing me the receipt where it says toasted, this would've been fine, had that order been mine, but it was not. I told the employee that I did an online order but she said it must've not gone through, I tried to explain that I paid for it but she just walked away. I’m giving this store a 5 star for all the great staff(except the manager). Especially shout out to Alex Feder. However, DO NOT WORK HERE. The manager is so rude, mean, disrespectful, liar, and manipulative in every way possible. I have not worked here but i know many people that have. She treats her staff so bad that so many people have quit because of her. She does not respect her workers and definitely doesn’t care about them at all.
