Big tropical smoothie fan. I go here at least once a week. Earlier today I was given the chicken pesto instead of the chicken bacon ranch that I ordered. When I tried to reconcile this the manager, Robert Brown, insisted I come in the store to do this. I told him I will not come in ( I had my 4 month old son with me) and I’d like to handle this through the drive thru. Robert then responded in a hostile manner “if you do not come in we can annot fix this for you I don’t want to hold up the drive thru.” I told Robert brown, the manager that if anyone were to come behind me I will gladly fall out of line and step in the store. Robert still refused, which was very irrational. All in all love the food at tropical, just not the customer service. Specifically from a Robert brown. I will probably not return to tropical smoothie until I return home. I was simply trying to make sure that TS learned from their mistake and not mess up orders in the future. I did not hear a SINGLE apology from Robert Brown which is expected of someone in his position.
I do plan on resolving tropical smoothies mistake, just not with Robert Brown. I have contacted the corporate office I’m GA and I did leave a detailed message. I plan on resolving this issue with them, since Robert Brown failed to do so. Mr. Brown if you are reading this when you have kids you will understand why I wanted to just handle it from the drive thru, instead of waking my son up...
Read moreWent to Tropical Smoothie this morning, apparently during Happy Hour, and was getting smoothies for my office for our weekly breakfast. Including myself we have 4 employees, so I ordered a smoothie for everyone... I was told in the drive-thru I was not allowed to order a 4th smoothie I could only have 3... I advised I cant show up with out one could we make an exception? I was told no I would have to come inside.. I got to the window and asked if I could do a separate trans and get my 1 additional smoothie she said no you have to go to the back of the line... I decided to take my business else where and will do so in the future for weekly breakfast order.
Never in my life have I ever ordered something from a restaurant and was down sold. Most businesses like to upsell the purchase, here was the exact opposite. I was refused a smoothie for myself because I couldn't show up to the office with out breakfast for my team. This is the worst business restriction I have ever seen. Management should take the initiative to please customers not turn them away.. By not accommodating my request for 1 additional smoothie you have lost...
Read moreFirst thing is, I ordered a smoothie (can’t remember the name of it) that I haven’t had. I have only been frequenting these places for a few days because I have been traveling and needed something I thought was healthy. I normally get the açaí berry boost add peanut butter, this is really good just a little sweet. Anyway, I ordered the drink I never had it had coconut milk in it, and I had my choice of peanut butter or strawberries. I chose peanut butter. It was absolutely disgusting (to me). So I asked if I can have a different drink (the one I have ordered everyday since Friday lol), the guy seemed a little apprehensive but he did it. He took it to the back and told the girl that was making the drinks, once she finished making my new drink he told her I just didn’t like the other one. And she said “tell her if she don’t like it she can’t have another one”. She wasn’t willing to come to the front and tell me that even though i can see her and she can see me. Then I find out they add sugar to their drinks. That’s not even on the freaking sign that has “all” the ingredients! I will NEVER go back to another one of...
