Kristi's Pour House — Restaurant in Hart

I don't even know where to start. Me and my partner's anniversary is today, we are from lansing and are visiting some places along the coast and today has not gone well in every aspect... we stopped here around 4:45 to finally relax and get some food for the first time today on this hectic trip and upon arrival we were not informed of any wait times, had to wait for an hour and a half for food that was burnt to a crisp (my fries were BLACK and soggy/cold as they had probably sat out, my burger was BLACK and dry and tasted like nothing but charcoal), server hinted at the fact that a manager was not even present in the building (which is a load of violations on its own), i was handed a dirty plate for our appetizer, and i knew it was blatant negligence as i wiped the dirt off of my plate with ease. i have years of foodservice experience, i currently manage a kitchen, not to mention i went to college for culinary and have loads of certifications under my belt, i don't know that i even felt comfortable eating from this place. not to mention my partner informed me that to get to the men's bathroom you have to go THROUGH THE KITCHEN it is completely open to the public... i would be in my right mind to call someone about this but i respect those workers who dont have control of such awful management and need the money. seriously, there was only one server, our bill/card never got picked up and we had to walk up to the bar after 15 minutes to pay, and i don't even blame the waitress. she was polite and honestly had her hands full doing the jobs of 2-3 people, i hope to god yall pay her enough... get a grip, or new management. even coming from an unbiased, professional point of view this is not acceptable. we spent over 2 hours here and ruined the rest of our plans for the night before having to drive back home and just deem it a bad anniversary all...

Extremely rude waitress!! NEVER AGAIN!! We came on a busy Saturday night, the waitress said "it will be a minute before I can get to you" (We said "that's fine") ten minutes she came back to get our drink order and We gave our food order. The place was very smoke filled from the kitchen grill was just pouring out grill smoke it was lingerie in the air in the whole dining area, so bad it was drying out out eyes. So I asked if we could open the door a crack to get some fresh air, the waitress said "No we can't because the air-conditioning is on" (even though it was 20 degrease colder outside, lol) We said "ok" fine whatever. After about 25 minutes some of My childs food started to come, and I asked for a couple to go boxes for the rest because I knew we couldn't eat it all (I was trying to save her a trip for boxes) She got all defensive, She ended up throwing the boxes and boxed up sandwich (i didnt ask her to do) at us, and said "what else!" (really rudely!) My Mother and I's jaw just dropped We looked at each other in disbelief! I told her I was just trying to save her a trip of boxes because she was busy. She didn't bother to ask us if we wanted another glass of wine, which at that point of her BAD attitude We were done with being treated rudely anyway!! I was mortified to bring My out of town company there and be treated so rudely!! I will NEVER pay that much money to be treated that way again!! extremely...

I went there with my family and dad's friend and my dad's friend ordered a burrito and served him the burrito with spoiled meat and it smelled awful and my Mom worked there and worked an 11 and a half hour day and the owner forfeit her day of pay and we tried to go get it and he made my mom sign a paper he claimed he spent 300 dollars on a lawyer but he typed it and then another time he took my parents outside and pointed a finger and yelled in their faces and later that day my dad ended up in the hospital because of the stress. We ended up taking him to court my mom won the case and had 30 days to pay him from the day of the verdict and he still hasn't paid her. Also the everything is microwaved except steak and burgers. They're such bad business owners. They also own Crystal Valley pour house and I don't see how that place survives in the winter. They just need to close down both...
