I am staying at the Children’s Hospital In the area and placed an order online for my 6yr old son who is admitted in the hospital for cancer and really wanted dominos after not having an appetite for weeks after chemotherapy. I left a note about how to drop off since I can’t come downstairs due to covid. The instructions were to leave the food with security at the ambulatory entrance for room #... when I get the delivered notification security says there no food. When I called to see where is the food the guy who answers is rude and won’t even let me talk and makes a bunch of assumptions and keeps asking for a phone #. I proceeded to tell him exactly what I wrote in the note which is to walk inside and leave the food with security for room #... and they will bring it up. He assumed I meant the driver and kept asking for a phone number. Long story short, they don’t listen well because of their language barrier and was rude, hung up on me, and said I am not receiving my food. I called right back someone else answers with better English and more patience and says a driver is returning the food. When food arrives it’s just as cold as the outside weather! A complete waste of my money. Will never order from this location ever again. So unprofessional. Waited an hour and a half, got cold food, dealt with Rude employees, and employees who can’t listen or take instructions well, and didn’t even offer to make the situation better! Hartford location has to be the worse dominos I’ve ever...
Read moreWhat can I say. I came in to pick up a pizza, a normal thing for dominos. First thing you see when you get in the place is visibly sweaty teens handling the dough with no gloves. Appalled I spoke to a recently hired staff that said the owner promotes this food safety practice . I call the owner over in disbelief and when I ask him why he is doing this, he first gets loud, and then talks about how the health inspectors has given him the ok to do this( which if this is the response you know your already in the wrong ) and dominos is telling him not to wear gloves(DOMINOS HAS REQUESTED HE NOT WEAR GLOVES!!!!?!?!??). If they handled the dough and just the dough they might even have a case, but their so foolish they have a windowed display of them touching cheeses , veggies, and cornmeal in the 2 minutes I was standing there. Not only that but at the end of my conversation, he pats me on the back, walks in the kitchen and puts toppings on another pizza…. I work with chemicals for industrial tubing…. I had just come home from my shift and the man touched my shirt, no hand wash, and put topping on a pizza…. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ate 2 slices and sipped on water and I can’t say I feel too good. I don’t recommend you eat from here unless you like the added mystery flavor of the...
