05/20/2019 Between 11:15a-11:30a or so, the lady that rang us up was crazy rude, and this started BEFORE she even tended to my man and I. Firstly, she was rude to another customer that told her the table she was going to sit at was busted. Then she yelled at her co-workers to get someone to do it. One co-worker after another after another. Then it was my turn to order. This woman was so rude to her own co-workers I was nervous to even deal with her!!! I said my coffee exactly as I have said it a million other times, and I say that not because I expect her to know it, but because I know exactly how to say it, I don't forget certain parts of it, I could tell you my coffee while sleeping AND also standing on my head; at the same time!!! Me: Can I please get a medium, French Vanilla coffee, lite and sweet; with milk. (I tell her the rest of my order) My BF: (tells her his order) As she finishes typing my bf's order in I noticed on the customers side of the register that my coffee does not list "with milk" so I tell her that my coffee wasn't inputted correctly. She tells me that it's my error/ fault. I told her I've been ordering the exact same coffee for as long as I can remember. She tells me it wasn't with her. 🤦🏻♀️ I told her that I have said the exact same thing for my coffee each time I order it, regardless of where I am. That I know how to order my coffee. That I know to say "with milk" when ordering my coffee. Even my bf said I said it. And this woman keeps coming at me!! She had her name tag hidden so I called a little while later, once I returned home. I thought she was a supervisor, but assuming the woman over the phone was correct, she was a cashier (I hope she's correct because no one should be promoted with that attitude!!!). And yet again, assuming the woman over the phone is correct, she said that the cashier's name is Lorna, or something similar sounding. The cashier was an older lady, possibly Jamaican, but I'm not too sure.
What I am sure of- That lady was rude AF!! 1 Star! 129 Weston St,...
Read moreVisited today at 2:30pm 9/30/19 wanted an ice coffee before work. As I walk in a customer that was in line at the drive thru was in front of me. As she goes through the door she starts screaming and cursing at the employees. Saying she was disrespected while waiting on line. From my understanding she felt she was disrespected because the employee was having a conversation for 15 minutes while she was on line. It sounded like the employee was trying to tell her that they were working out a problem. Customer was asking for the corporate number to complain. They said there was no number for her to call. Customer was screaming, yelling and threatening. But the employees were egging her on by laughing, calling her fat and crazy and they aren't scared of her. They should of deescalated the situation. I worked in retail for 20 years, a simple I'm sorry what of cut the tension in half. Instead one of the employees through an ice coffee from behind the counter at the customer. The customer was rude and threatening, the employees should of called the police if they felt threatened. Instead they were were just as abusive as the customer and actually more violent since they started throwing things. Before me and two other customers walked out (since the was no end in sight and we had ice coffee on us from the employee throwing it) the customer wanted to fight thre employee, the employee rushed to go around the counter to fight but was held back. That's when the customer finally left. Very sad to see that this is how DD trains there employees. Luckily there were no children in the "restaurant" to see this. Don't think I'll be visiting this...
Read moreI recently purchased a coffee and the assistant manager on site was combative and engaged in arguing behavior just because I asked for oatmilk (which is less sweeter than almond milk). She went on and on insisiting that my choice of oatmilk was futile because she believes it's sweeter than almond milk. She was so angry that she even asked someone else to help me after she began to make my order, and they both grinned at each other because she refused to make my order in a very public display. People who behave this way in customer service specifically those who hate their jobs and therefore have terrible attitudes end up making and serving awful coffee etc, which is what occurred. In the end, the "coffee" they made wasn't drinkable or digestible. I informed some of my friends about the incident and they immediately told me that they never visit the Weston St location because of the persistent rudeness among staff at this location and my knowing this now informs my choice to never return! I sincerely wish zero were an option because I think giving 1 is dishonest and doesn't accurately depict this unfortunate waste of time, energy, and money. I came for coffee not a...
