Pampi's Jamaican Restaurant — Restaurant in Hartford

As a traveling foodie, I like to try new places to me in my neighborhood. This place I highly do not recommend. The female behind the counter was rude. Nothing verbally was said, yet body language and lack of eye contact speaks louder than words. Next, let’s talk about the freshness and temperature of the food: the chicken was luke warm and extremely salty (no flavor), same for the pumpkin rice and the vegetables. The bammy was hard and dry from being under that light too long. The sad part about this is that it was EARLY lunchtime so the food should’ve been hot. Then, as my food was being placed in a bag, instead of trying to secure that the food doesn’t spill out, that detail was not observant to the female behind the counter. Lastly, as I was paying another customer came in and another female was about to attempt to serve that customer, yet the female that was serving me told the other server “don’t serve, I got them” and she was about to walk away without putting my plastic ware in the bag. And instead of just giving me the plastic ware, she questioned me as if I wasn’t observing her the whole time, so I can make this review. I took everything out the bag to prove there was no plastic ware. My suggestion is if you are NOT Jamaican or West Indian, I highly recommend you don’t go to this...

There's a older lady that works there she's very friendly wish i k ew her name. The food is great but the customer service is a lil iffy, if you dont speak the language they look at you like you crazy.
