Went to tico’s the other day with my husband and the two ladies serving the food were blasting music to the point where they couldn’t hear us so we had to yell over the music. Read moreTicos is arguably the best Puerto Rican restaurant in Hartford. DEFINITELY my favorite! The food is always amazing, try the pork & plantain pinchos. Over the past 8 years I've been a satisfied customer of there's. The staff has changed but the owner is the sweetest lady & her dedication to a clean restaurant & top quality food is more than admirable. I tried the blood sausage once, a dish I wouldn't try if I didn't trust the restaurant. I was surprised by how good it was. Don't forget dessert! Their oreo cake is LEGENDARY. They have an excellent parking lot too, not always easy to find parking...
