Extremely disappointed with our stay here and do not recommend it. My girlfriend and i stayed here for 2 nights while we were on vacation. We both thought that the room was very cute but the shower was a very different story, and even more so the customer service. When we went to use the shower the morning of the first night we found that the drain did work, but extremely slowly. So all the water backed up while we showered along with hair from inside the drain, and all the soap from shampoo and body wash. We had to stand in several inches of nasty backed up water in order to get “clean”. And on top of that the shower liner was covered in water stains and mold! I don’t remember the lady’s name who helped us check in(her name started with an “A”) but when i went downstairs and asked for her a gentleman said she wasn’t here but that he was her husband. So i brought him upstairs and showed him the shower liner and the water backing up inside the shower. He told me that theyve had a problem with the water backing up and that it wasn’t something he could fix until the end of the season. He’d have to take it apart and clean the pipe. As for the mold on the shower liner he told me it wasn’t mold. I told him i know mold on a shower liner, thats mold. He told me again thats not mold, but that they could take that liner off and put a fresh one on. When i expressed my unhappiness in paying that much to shower in backed up water and mold, he reiterated to me there was nothing he could do and we were welcome to check out. We only had one more night and then we were on the road again so we stayed the night and just avoided showering until we arrived at our destination the next day. Later that night after we came back to our room we found that they had removed the moldy shower liner, but never replaced it with a clean one so we only had the curtain hanging there. Im shocked at how little they cared about the quality and comfort of our stay, and the lack of customer service to make things right. They thought it perfectly fine for us to pay all that money to shower in backed up water and mold, or to just leave. I highly do not recommend staying here. This is my first experience booking something through Expedia, not very impressed.

Google seems to think Mooncusser’s Tavern is a hotel, but it is a restaurant! I give the food, service, and atmosphere each a 4/5. Me and my parents all enjoyed the food. The room was nice and the tables/chairs were comfortable and overall, the meal didn’t take too long. I think to earn that extra star, the food could have been elevated just a little bit more. For example, the lobster elote dip was great, BUT what I think could have improved it more would be to remove the lobster and make it a normal elote dip. I don’t think it added anything to the dish. My other comment is just that towards the end of the meal as the restaurant got much busier, it definitely took a while to get our waters refilled as well as eventually get the check (and around that point we realized all the other tables got bread while we didn’t). In short, I would definitely come back, but make your reservation for an early time!

Earlier today I went to the Tavern and I had ordered Steak Frites it was butyraceous i requested medium-rare but is was seared a little too much otherwise it was spectacular easily one of the best steaks I've had in years. On the Sea Salt Fries where it was flawless salted perfectly I'd expect it in a Michelin Star Restruant. I had also ordered the Creme Brulee with a maple flavor it was nothing too special but there's not a whole lot you can do with Creme Brulee it was Great it had Lemon shredded over a dollop of whipped cream. The atmosphere was very nice the chairs were comfy the lighting looked nice but there were tiki torches they looked a little out of place but having torches of a different varient would be a nicer touch. I don't remember the server's but on the bill it was addressed to:The F the service was amazing.

This is not baseball. TWO STRIKES you are OUT.|We dined here when it first opened. After being seated up against a window with a BLOWING WINDOW FAN,having our food arrive cold and over 1:22 minutes, we decided never to return. However, It’s a tough business! Tried again!|We arrived 10 minutes early and were seated right away because the main dining room was pretty empty.|Off to a good start.|That proved to be the highlight of our dining experience.|Our server, although very sweet, never checked on questions I asked regarding ingredients and prep of my entree. I have a severe poultry allergy and VEGAN 40 years.|Our off the regular menu entrees were placed within 15 minutes but arrived over 1:05 minutes later. No status updates given during this time either. The side dining room is tight and LOUD.|We found ourselves speaking louder ourselves because it was impossible to hear.|When the entrees arrived, mine was NOTHING like the description on the menu. |“Grilled Vegetable Napoleon-Grilled marinated zucchini, summer squash, eggplant, red pepper and a pesto aioli.” Served with choice of garden greens OR fries.Well my entree which looked like it was literally tossed on a plate was half a sliver of each of the above mentioned on a hamburger roll (the vegetables didn’t even cover the roll!) a few FRIED fingerling potatoes which again were sliced in half and portion of greens. There was also the pesto which i specifically asked them to leave OFF the dinner. My choice was the entree without the pesto and the salad ( which accompanies the entree). I asked for s side of the ROASTED fingerlings if available. I never go an answer on the ROASTED potatoes. When I questioned the entree our server brought over the menu and stated that the entree is actually a “burger”!|The potatoes were not “roasted” and MINIMAL therefore I had no idea what or why they were served. Bill$15 for entree ,additional $10 greens salad. I brought it to the servers’ attention! SORRY...
