Harwich Port House of Pizza — Restaurant in Harwich

I will say that the pizza was very tasty. Crust and sauce, the most important parts of any good pizza , were very good. Unfortunately, they messed up my "extra sauce" pizza, and put extra sausage on it. I would go again and hope they get my order right this time, because I am sure it would be very good. UPDATE... went back twice since...first time had a veggie pizza loaded up too much made pizza wet, but hard to complain. Third time was a charm! Cheese pizza was excellent, and the steak sandwich was the best I have ever had. Now that I have figured out what they make that I like, I will go there often from now on! Oh, and the prices !! Their underpriced! NEW UPDATE!! credit where credit is due as above says, but criticism also when its due. The owners need to learn the difference between a cutlet and a pattie! Menu states veal cutlet, clerk confirmed cutlet. It was a damn pattie! I cant believe that an Italian rest/pizzeria wouldn't know the difference! FYI , a cutlet is a solid muscle piece of meat. Very dissapointing! minus 1 star ...but love their...

The worst experience ever. My family order pizza at 5pm for pickup at 7pm. We arrived 15 minutes early and were fine waiting. They pulled the pizza out of the oven at 6:45pm and set it on top of oven. Staff continued to say it was coming, but I could hear her tell the pizza guy the wings were not even cooking yet. while waiting, numerous costumers stated they don't understand why they take so long and sometimes they have to remind staff about order or it will sit and get cold. I asked the staff at 7: 15pm how much longer because my wife and kids were in the car. Staff stated soon. By 7: 20 pm I asked to talk to the manager and staff ignored me like I was not there. Finally when I received my pizza, I asked why it took so long and was told it happens. My family come here with a lot of our friends every summer to vacation, We will definitely not be recommending this place and will be telling everyone we know about our experience. My experience with Harwich Port House of Pizza was extremely poor. I went with a coupon for "1 Free Large Pizza" and ordered a 1/2 Cheese and 1/2 Pepperoni Pizza. When I went to pay, the employee requested that I pay an extra $3.00 (which I assume was for the pepperoni) however, the coupon should have covered this. I tried to pay this with a credit card since I don't carry cash, and was denied since the restaurant does not use credit cards for payments under $5.00. When I told him I did not have the $3.00 aside from the credit card, he PICKED THE PEPPERONI OFF THE PIZZA, and put it in the oven. When it was done cooking he handed me my pizza, and I was on my way. Overall a very poor experience.
