Camacho & Charlie's Mexican Grill & Cantina — Restaurant in Haskell

First of this is NOT a Mexican Food Restaurant. It is Tex-Mex which is totally different taste and use of spices. Service here was okay. Everyone here was served chips and salsa except my table. Ordered fish platter which really has no taste but of deep fried grease even bacon has that taste. Nachos Camacho were excellent! Beans are cooked with bacon grease. Shiner Bock beer tastes a bit stale and not full and creamy. Margaritas are NOT good. Has alka zelter taste. Extremely sweet as well and awefully bitter. Ordered an extra shot and a whole lime to try and better the taste. Eventually just left it all. (Served from machine) Let waitress know they need to work on that. After driving for 4.5 hours from Dallas, we decided to try this place for dinner. BIG MISTAKE!! Waitress staff looked overworked,unhappy,not friendly, very slow at sitting customers. We were a party of four and ordered, and when the waitress brought our food,she only brought 3 out of 4 plates. Two of them were right, and the third was wrong. The fourth plate never made out. After 15 minutes, I asked the waitress for the fourth plate and took them another twenty minutes. I refused it because everyone at my table was all done with their dinner. This was our go to family favorite when it was in Stamford, despite the dirty and dilapidated building. Now, it's a smaller, nicer place on the square in Haskell, but we will never, ever darken their door again. We were treated so badly we should have just left without paying.
