This is a gem in the heart of Hastings. We had heard about this wonderful place through word-of-mouth and decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did. Upon entering, we were met with the friendly and warm welcome of the owner, Beth, who continued to make our experience completely delightful. There were several tea selections to choose from and we all tried to order something a bit different from the menu to share and try. Everything we did was spot on. The atmosphere and decor just made it all that more enjoyable. If you are in the area, a student at the college, or just a lover of tea, this is your place! Our grandsons loved it very much, they even talked about it the next day. We WILL return and we are already spreading the word to all our friends! Thanks for the great memories, Beth and Caroline, you definitely made repeat customers, but also new friends!

My friends and I drove down today for afternoon tea. We decided we couldn't have tea without dressing for the occasion. We had such a fun time. I highly recommend well.... everything. It was scrumptious. The lavender cookies were made with locally sourced lavender. The ganache on the chocolate cake was soft and absolutely perfect. The sausage roll and Scottish egg were served in a delectable croissant pastry with several perfect flaky layers. There were so many, " oh yums". Coming from our table. Lovely staff, clean, we will be back next month. We might have to become regulars coming from the Kearney area. Thank you What the Dickens I can't wait to come back again. 💞

Today was our first visit of what I am SURE will be many more to come. One of the owners (Beth) was so personable and informative. I loved the anecdotes she shared as she checked in with us. The tea was delicious and the decor and ambience made the experience unforgettable. Now the best part… THE FOOD. We tried a lot of different items while we were here and nothing disappointed! Everything was savory and delectable. Cant wait to come back! We are very lucky to have this shop in small town Nebraska. All of the staff was fantastic. Brilliant place.

1- hard to find, couldn't see the sign from the road, had to get out and walk to find it. First impression cute! Waitress came over, told her water and we would need a minute. Said we had never been there before. But no description or decent menu was given. Waitress left and we waited awhile , I had to go track someone down to get service. I ordered a clean tea and it comes with two scones, was gonna share one scone with the person who came with me , and ordered an extra tea. Instead she double charged me for two complete cream tea with four scones and wouldn't fix the situation and argued with me, when i questioned the bill. Very cute environment but rude management!! $25 for two teas and four scones is absolutely ridiculous!!! Will never go back! What I ordered was only supposed to cost $11.75 plus I was gonna pay for an extra tea. They had every opportunity while I was there to rectify the situation but chose to be nasty about it when I clearly knew what I ordered. So them going and posting a response thinking it will make them look good because there saying they would gladly see me again. They had there chance and you didn't fix it then. Just shows what kind of...

Stopped in at this cafe as a 'home away from home,' after living for years in London, UK. I have been here several times before with all good experiences. This time around, I picked up a Millionaire's Bar and macarons - not uniquely English or British. A bit disappointed. The macaron itself was somewhat tough and the filling was much too thick and melty like an American buttercream frosting. The bar was quite good though, with the caramel fresh and tasty, but I'm wondering if the chocolate was melted American chocolate morsels versus a richer, traditional chocolate - implying, itself a bit too sweet. The m-bar is already very sweet with the caramel and would have preferred more balance with the shortcake. Maybe the cook is off on holiday? Will return nonetheless. A little gem in this remote area...
