Spatola’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Hatfield Township

I had the worst experience with Spatola’s today. I would NOT recommend placing an order for delivery from this place! I ordered a pizza for delivery. Well little did I know this was the WORST decision to order a pie from. I had instructions for the delivery driver to knock on the door and to call. Well 10 mins after my expected food delivery I called and asked if my delivery is on the way. The woman picked up the phone and had such a bad attitude. I could barely hear her in the first place but then she was arguing about my food how the driver knocked and called several times. After about 5 mins on the phone she finally said he left the food outside. I said ok thanks and hung up. I went outside to grab my food and found the pizza upside down with the box half lifted open almost liked the driver threw the pizza box down on the ground and walked away. I looked over the pizza and felt to the touch ice cold. Now my husband and I and dog were all downstairs during the delivery time and neither of us heard a knock which the woman on the phone said he did. My dog goes absolutely nuts when he hears a knock or hears anyone outside so I knew that was BS. I checked my husbands phone and he did receive a call but not “several calls” as the girl claimed. That part was on us but still not the point. I brought the pizza in and my husband was absolutely discussed by the way I had found our pizza. So he ended up calling back the place and asked to speak with the manager and of course the woman answered (she is the manager) and he explained how we found our food and she told my husband he was lying and how we would never do something like this. I should have took a picture of how I found out food but was starving and just wanted to eat. Never ordering from this place again! It’s a shame we’ve ordered from here before and never had a problem but to be treated like this is absolutely insane as a customer. This is our family’s new home away from home(especially when my hubby and I don’t feel like cooking). We went last night and again tonight for dinner with our 3 kids. All of us including the kids can’t get enough of the food (which is no easy task since they’re such picky eaters) and our girls have made a new bff in the waitress, Heather. She was amazing! Holding down almost the entire dining room and still making us feel like we were her only table. We never had to wait for refills or had a dirty dish sitting in front of us. Our daughters like her so much they asked if she would be working tomorrow morning so we can come back and try breakfast! Every meal that we have gotten has been some of the best food we’ve ever tasted. Tonight for me was the chicken florentina and for my husband was the veal parmigiana. Both of which were huge portions and we happily boxed them up to eat later. The girls had a pizza and chicken fingers with ffs and they ate more than I have ever seen them eat before. Our 8yr old ate 5 pcs of pizza and a pc of cheesecake all by herself! Not sure where she’s putting it all but she just kept saying “its soooo good! I can’t get enough!”

Absolutely positively awful!!! I really tried not to complain today but after ordering breakfast I was just disgusted by my pancakes filled with chocolate chips only on the bottom and burnt; an abundant amount of chocolate chips!!! My eggs that were supposed to be scramble well with cheese was; I don't even know what they did then throw cheese on there. The beef bacon was straight s* I could not even eat my meal that I spent money on and tipped the driver! so I decided to call and hopefully get a resolution; like remake my food or refund my money. Instead I was told that's how they cook, and there's nothing they can do? Like seriously??? Oh and don't get the chicken panini!!! They use process chicken not fresh chicken breast. Js straight disgusting! And no customer service!!!
